“Yall when I say this place is the bomb I left home 3 hours earlier on my way from Washington D.C to stop here going to SC. let me tell you it did not disappoint. I came on a week day first time and it was smooth. I had to coming back to SC for funeral two weeks later on Saturday and left home 3:00 am that morning got to Greensboro 1030 I am thinking I made good time, child bye I had to stand in line. They told play no games. But Greensboro let the visit enjoying thierselves yall get to all the time LOL. With that said I love this place unfortunately I only can satisfy my sweet tooth when I am in town and will. Everything I try is good.“

“The mini cookies have become a fast favorite. You don’t have to cut them or share them and they’re the perfect little treat. The pink sugar cookie and cookies and cream milkshake will always have my heart, but every flavor I’ve ever tried has been equally delicious.“

“Great place and I love the Reeses cake slice. The only thing I would suggest is training all employees on serving size when cutting the cakes. It is very inconsistent. My husband got a huge slice while mine was about half the size of his for the same price. I keep coming back though because it is that good!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this business. This is my new regular spot! There is plenty of seating, with a variety of seating options. I adore the window nooks on a rainy day and the downstairs for when I may need to focus a bit more. This coffee shop has plenty of restrooms that make it especially nice for when it is busy. They provide board games and a chess board which I've used a number of times with a good selection of books as well. I must also express how welcoming it feels, Lot 63 being in Old Salem provides a true community feel that you can't quite get anywhere else in Winston. I've also realized just how freeing it is to be somewhere I feel comfortable leaving my things to pick up drinks or run to my car.

Their coffee is very consistently made. It is never too sweet. Their avocado toast is the only food I've tried and absolutely no complaints with that either. They have a wide range of hours open, which is hard to find these days.

“The baked goods are house made and very good. They use Counter Culture coffee and I’m not a huge fan of fruity coffees. This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.“

TOO many of the cookies are just broken. Not just broken! In pieces? Product costs TOO much for the quality to be SO poor! Do better!“

(It didn't!) So, I tried Ink4Cakes with an expedited order. It was 2 images split on one cake topper, so it needed to be approved first as well. As a vegetarian I typically only have a few things to choose from when it comes to eating out, but Salem Kitchen had sooo many options to choose from that I could take home and bake! The young woman helping me at the counter was an absolute GEM- I wish I had gotten her name (she wears glasses and has a Studio Ghibli tattoo like me!) I let her know I was a vegetarian and she showed me an entire section of their menu that was meat free! There are so many sides and desserts as well that looked absolutely delicious. I’m currently trying the baked spaghetti and it tastes like home! Thank y’all so much for your service! I’ll be back very soon!“

“It’s always super crowded and for good reason, they make quick work of the line though. The donuts are amazing and this is the one place I know my coffee is actually going to be balanced. They have their ratios down. The baristas are sometimes nice, sometimes not it just depends on who’s working. But when the coffee is consistent, I’m deal with a bit of curtness“

“I saw this business at the NC STATE Fair on yesterday and stopped by to ask a question, I walked away with the BEST white wine cake, that I EVERRRRRRR had! The cake was moist and the flavor was flavoring! Scott was very nice and very informative. This business is going places just watch! And did I mention the FLAVOR? If I could give 100 stars I would. “Had to have my screen protector fixed next door and had never seen the place, service was prompt, got a meatball sub and some cookies, all of it was great. The mom had a cool shirt on, the Barstool flag in the background, awesome place. I usually never leave reviews but then I saw how the owner replies to some of these reviews of people who just whine and cry on google instead of having a face to face convo is the best. “I visited the Indian restaurant the evening before- see review on their page. I thought I’d try the bakery this morning. It’s a beautiful warm day here, no humidity and a light breeze. Sitting outdoors to enjoy my bagel was perfect. The service was excellent… so friendly and welcoming. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a blueberry muffin. My first time having to toast my own bagel-lol- at a restaurant, I don’t have anywhere to go at the moment so time was not a concern. I’m a East Coast girl and love NY bagels.. this bagel was fresh, chewy and soft on the inside just like it’s supposed to be! Once I taste the muffin I will amend my review. Now I want to try their everything bagel!!“

“Just had the spongiest , moistest little slice of tropical paradise from @3B Snacks’ Buttercreme Bakery . It was soooo tasty ! And I loved that it didn’t leave an oily film in the roof of my mouth like some other brands of packaged sponge cakes - it seemed genuinely fresh instead of full of preservatives - Had intended to take a picture of the half eaten cake but I got carried away“

“If you're delivering sugar or anything heavy here it's probably best to come in through the front entrance and come through the employee parking to get to the dock.. you know how it is backing these autos up hill when heavy.. it's a little easier on your clutch if come through parking lot to setup your back for dock.. in and out less than 30 minutes.“

“I haven't been here in a while, but since my last visit things have changed. I usually order yhe ham, egg and cheddar on a plain bagel, toasted.
My order today was pretty skimpy compared to what I used to get. And it still cost $11 (with a moderate tip).
I understand profit and margins, but the draw was the generous helpings. Take that away and it loses its charm.
The taste was OK, but nothing like it was.“
