“This is a jewel of a bakery, boulangerie and patisserie, and Augustino also provides brunch staples such as delicious Quiches and Boerek.Open only 2 days a week and rather late ( 10 am), the faithful are lining up at the door for the goodies. “I ordered a tank cake for my promotion ceremony and DeeDee absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! It was so well done and exceptionally detailed I didnt even want to cut into the cake. Cookies & Cream filling was absolutely delicious and I was able to feed about 25 people. I also ordred mini cupcakes on the side and they were amazing. I could not have asked for a better cake. “I first started buying pound cake when she was downtown and when she moved I did not know where to find her. Just happened to have lunch with friends across the street from her shop and the waitress told us about the pound cake shop. I was hoping it was her so we went over and there she was with all her wonderful pound cakes. I have moved since but whenever I’m in town that is one of the first places I go. Her pound cake tastes like my Grandmother’s just delicious. For those that say it’s expensive try making a true pound cake and see how expensive it is. They are a pound of nothing but delicious.“

“Amazing place tucked away on Market street across from Sheetz. They have the usual cakes and breads you'd expect at a Mexican-style bakery, and it's all great. On Sundays they make churros my wife says are the best she's had, and she's had churros in Mexico City and in Spain. Tuesday and Friday afternoons (maybe other times) there are "sugar-raised" donuts that are better than Dunkin (that's not too hard) and even Donut World.“

Arriving this early meant that I did not have a parking challenge which is a concern later in the day.I started with a cortado, which is two shots with steamed (not foamed) milk. Done perfectly by the barista and presented properly, it was a fantastic start for the day. An hour later, just a simple drip coffee in a proper mug. “I heard this place is really good in Greensboro so while I was out visiting the Science Museum, I thought I would stop by.While it isn't what I pictured it to be, definitely recommend giving it a try. I read in the reviews for this place that the BBQ beef/pork was the best. We bought one of each and can concurr though they are both good. I will say the BBQ pork is better in my opinion. We also ordered a side of spring rolls which was so refreshing!The owner seems to know his regulars which says a lot about this place. While it was not very sit down and eat restaurant vibe, the food was very good.They serve boba here too, but I did not try it.“

“I have enjoyed maxie b's now for over 14 years. I first tried them at a bridal shower and it was delicious so I had to try more flavors. I do have to say I'm not a fan of their pound cake but that's probably because no one compares to my granny. The atmosphere is so cute and quaint and relaxed here. I love that over the years they have expanded and added a seating area that has a fire place, kid seating and books for the Littles. I hate that they got rid of their old rewards program but they recently began a new one that involves reusing your containers that your cake comes in. The service is fast and friendly and the fresh apple cake with caramel icing is a thing of dreams.“

“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!“
