“This is a nice little bakery with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff seemed very friendly and happy to help customers. It looks like a great little community bakery and coffee house to become a regular at. The cupcakes were a hit with the kids and we also tried a chocolate chip cookie which was good as well. I was also told the watering can is reusable, so even after my pretty flowers have dried, I will still be getting my money's worth for months to come. Not only is the environment friendly, and the community atmosphere present, but the food is always impeccably cooked. It is delicious and the serving portions are very generous. “We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! When I took that first bite, it was like the angels sang! I'm serious. If butter isn't your thing, no worries, there are so many flavors to choose from that you're bound to find a flavor that hits the way the butter got me! You must go right now and get some pound cake from Legacy Cakes! You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back. “I take some fault in this because I had never eaten pineapple cake from here or seen one; but I ordered this for Christmas. It was HORRIBLE. We threw it out. It had small smidgets of pineapple in the SWEETEST icing I have ever tasted. It was so sweet that nobody could eat it and way too much icing. In all my 70 years, I thought it would have been as I had always seen, pineapple between the layers and icing on the outside. Well I was wrong. That sweet icing with a smidget of pineapple was between the layers and on the outside. I never expected any refund, but maybe a conversation and a little concern for my inconvenience. I called the week after Christmas and spoke with an employee. To this February 20 date, the owner NEVER called as was promised. I have not been back to get my favorite German chocolate slices because this is POOR customer service. I know my business was nothing compared to regular customers who purchase a lot but she could have at least called and showed a little concern. My adult children asked for pineapple, but we had to give it to the trash can.“

“Amazing place tucked away on Market street across from Sheetz. They have the usual cakes and breads you'd expect at a Mexican-style bakery, and it's all great. On Sundays they make churros my wife says are the best she's had, and she's had churros in Mexico City and in Spain. Tuesday and Friday afternoons (maybe other times) there are "sugar-raised" donuts that are better than Dunkin (that's not too hard) and even Donut World.“

“I have enjoyed maxie b's now for over 14 years. I first tried them at a bridal shower and it was delicious so I had to try more flavors. I do have to say I'm not a fan of their pound cake but that's probably because no one compares to my granny. The atmosphere is so cute and quaint and relaxed here. I love that over the years they have expanded and added a seating area that has a fire place, kid seating and books for the Littles. I hate that they got rid of their old rewards program but they recently began a new one that involves reusing your containers that your cake comes in. The service is fast and friendly and the fresh apple cake with caramel icing is a thing of dreams.“

“Eeeeeeeee! We moved to Kernersville this past spring and are now finally exploring more - and today's find of a LEGIT PANADERIA 10 minutes from our house?!? YESSSSSSSA. So they all operate pretty much the same: grab a tray and tongs, fill with breads and sweets. The selection is amazing-more than I've seen at most here in WS. Some personal faves: Rolls, both round and football shaped. Bolillo has a bit extra egg white so they are fluffy and a bit chewy. Love making nice sandwiches with them. Anything that has a bright red paste. This is guava and it's incredible. Anything that has cheese! These are harder to discern. Anything really, just have fun! Bring cash: it's cheap but you need a $5 minimum. We got two custard things, a donut and two guava treats. I'd be lying if I said that we weren't planning to go back to get some rolls for a nice sandwich for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious, and moves fast. Things aren't labeled, but after you go a few times you start understanding what things are, and I recommend just trying some new things, or google image what you got to make sure you can get it again. Finally the smell of fresh baked goodies and the kindness of the staff! 10/10 so excited this is so close!“
