“Eeeeeeeee! We moved to Kernersville this past spring and are now finally exploring more - and today's find of a LEGIT PANADERIA 10 minutes from our house?!? YESSSSSSSA. So they all operate pretty much the same: grab a tray and tongs, fill with breads and sweets. The selection is amazing-more than I've seen at most here in WS. Some personal faves: Rolls, both round and football shaped. Bolillo has a bit extra egg white so they are fluffy and a bit chewy. Love making nice sandwiches with them. Anything that has a bright red paste. This is guava and it's incredible. Anything that has cheese! These are harder to discern. Anything really, just have fun! Bring cash: it's cheap but you need a $5 minimum. We got two custard things, a donut and two guava treats. I'd be lying if I said that we weren't planning to go back to get some rolls for a nice sandwich for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious, and moves fast. Things aren't labeled, but after you go a few times you start understanding what things are, and I recommend just trying some new things, or google image what you got to make sure you can get it again. “A few days have gone by since my experience at Savor the Moment in High Point. I've needed time to contemplate its translation to words. You know how sometimes it seems like an experience gets dulled a little bc words just aren't enough? Well yeah. That. "It's dessert," you say. No, it's not "just dessert". If you know you know... so, at the end of this, don't just take my word for it. Have the experience. Because I know there is someone out there reading this that is just like me. You may be someone that appreciates my recommendation and say, "hey, good call." But to that person reading this who gets it, you're welcome.... Small business. Family-run. Three generations making dreams come true. And it shows. Customer service from Jasmine and Rebecca (the 3rd generation)- stellar. Ambiance- calm, peaceful. A place to take your laptop, or a place to take your {friend, significant other, parent, child} and play a card game, connect four, battleship, etc.... Sign up for their rewards program, look out for special events (family game night, chili dinner, live music, etc.). But no matter what you do-- try the Crunch Cheesecake. I'm not a huge cheesecake fan. One of the reasons, besides my aversion to cream cheese on anything except a bagel, is that it's just too much of one thing. Every bite of a plain cheesecake is just, well, plain. I need dimension in my desserts. Like layers. And the Crunch Cheesecake was everything I look for in a dessert. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Fresh Strawberry. The bottom layer reminded me of a thick shortbread pie crust soaked (but not soggy) with all the juices of fresh strawberry and cheesecake goodness. The middle layer was cheesecake, but not too "cream cheesey"-- super smooth with just the right level of sweetness. Surrounding all that was the crunch. Oh the crunch. A nice thick border of whip cream lined this little gem, and on top.... A plentiful amount of fresh strawberries. Side note- my husband got the banana pudding Crunch Cheesecake, and they cut the fresh banana at the time of the order and loaded it on top. His dessert was divine also, but I'm trying to stay focused..... anyway, this dessert is at the top of my list. Every bite had so much dimension and depth of flavor and texture. I looked forward to every bite. I never got "bored" like I do with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. This was like eating art. Do I take my dessert too seriously? Yes, I do. I own that. But I'm sure I'm not alone.“

It looks like a great little community bakery and coffee house to become a regular at. The cupcakes were a hit with the kids and we also tried a chocolate chip cookie which was good as well. “Their coconut macaroons are chewy, flavorful discs of love. The taste reminds me of the ones I used to get down the shore in NJ from James' Candy Company, but the price is much more affordable. Only spent $2.49 for an 1/2 lb. container. I'll be back!!“
“When my friend and i were walking in i said to him " watch us find the jackpot in here". Boy did we! This local bakery is amazing and a hidden Gem. Definitely gives small hometown vibes. The staff was so friendly and inviting. They gave us a tour of the displays. They had such a great assortment of cakes, cookies, pies, crackers and more. They also had a huge section for sugar and gluten free. They had some local sources meals and products like quiches, jams, salsa, crackers. They had chicken pot pies and Moravian. There Cheese straws were delicious and tasted like a way more flavorful Cheez IT! My favorite so far was the lemon cheesecake cake bars and Buck eye balls.“

“Overall a good donut shop, friendly staff with a cute little interior.Had a bunch of varieties, but we went later in the morning around 11:00am. They were out of many donuts as expected at this time on a Saturday so we had very limited options.Quality was your typical donut. I wouldn’t say they were the best we’ve ever had, but decent enough. A little bit dense and dry, when typically we go for light, fluffy and moist.If we’re in the area and kids want donuts we’ll stop in, but probably won’t make the 20min drive just for this.“
“Absolutely wonderful! I recently contacted Ms. McKnight about making a cake for a campus event celebrating Frederick Douglass. She was so enthusiastic and helpful – offering various options based on our expected attendance and even suggesting that the cake could feature our event logo (see the photo – it looked beautiful)! It was a double-layer Cheerwine poke cake with whipped icing – and everything about it, the appearance and (especially) the taste was perfect. It really made the event special – and I can't wait to order again!“
