“Not sure if this is about tasty bakery or ever frost cakes but tasty bakery is nasty I have seen first hand there back rooms nothing dated floors are nasty cake icing area is nasty bakeries don’t have health inspections but if they did they would close it down. I will not eat anything from there. Everfrost was ran by a nice lady doing it all by herself and every cake I got from her was always great!!! She had the misfortune of getting cancer and closed her store thank God she beat it and is now only making cakes for her close friends..“

“Today my manager brought some into work. I tried the glaze. I don't eat alot of sweets like cakes and donuts. BUT HOLY COW!! Hands down the best donut I've ever had. Light and airy perfect amount of glaze. The texture is so fluffy. No other donut can compare 10 out of 10.❤️???“

“If you haven’t tried Rose and Rae’s, the next time you are in Burlington you should! They are a certified gluten free kitchen, and diabetic friendly bakery. We drive from Greensboro regularly, and have enjoyed the savory items, as well as the sweet treats! With no sugar added, and very low carbs, as a diabetic I’m able to eat the food with no spike in my blood sugar. The best part, it’s all delicious…..and you’d never know it wasn’t a “regular” meal or dessert. Support local, small business and enjoy a healthy, delicious product…..all at the same time!“

“A hidden little gem in the center of a small town. We first used Main Street Cake for our wedding, for a custom cake and cupcakes. Everything turned out amazing, from the decorations to the flavors. We had the chance to use Main Street again for our daughter’s 1st birthday party and the experience was just as wonderful as the first time. Holly is always pleasant to work with and delivers top-notch custom desserts for a reasonable price. Will always be our go to for custom desserts. Thank you again!!!“
“We had Lou’s make our wedding cake. We chose chocolate cake with the custard filling and OMG it was so good. We got a 9in first tier and 6in for the top. It was about $120. I don’t have my pictures back yet, but it looked as we described and it was delivered (on time), and the venue was about an hour away!! It was simple just icing and some florals. They even helped set up my dessert table, which wasn’t even bought from the bakery (balling on a budget). Unfortunately we didn’t get any of our own cake, but all the guests said it was the best they’ve ever tasted. We went in for a cake testing and were offered 6 types of cake of our choosing (cake and fillings). The woman that sat with us was very friendly and kind. 1000/10. The bite that we smushed on each others faces, was very yummy and far from dry. I am demanding my husband to get me a cupcake with that flavoring.“

“Nice coffee shop with great pastries and unique latte flavors! The service was friendly and very quick with our order. I got a pumpkin whoopie pie and my wife got the pumpkin spice latte. Both were good and satisfying.We loved the cool hand painted murals on the walls and the cozy decor. They did a good job making the interior inviting. This is a great option to get your coffee and pastry fix!“
“Wonderful customer service. I misunderstood the prices for a bulk order over the phone and when I got there she still honored what I thought I heard during our conversation. She definitely didn't have to and it was really appreciated and they were delicious, fresh and ready to go when I got there!“
“Alicia is an absolute cake Angel! She worked with us tirelessly to make sure the cakes for our event were exactly what we envisioned! And this was a very important event…it’s not everyday that your grandmother turns 90 & your first born turns 25! We ordered 2 cakes (one for each birthday girl) & we requested a special filling (lavender) for one of the cakes. Alicia admitted she had never tried a lavender filling but was up for the challenge & man did she nail it! We got sooo many compliments on both cakes! They were unbelievably moist, light & beyond delicious! I must have been asked for Alicia’s info by at least half of our 60+ guests. Order your next cake from Alicia! She will not disappoint!“
“I don’t eat out much, but when I do, I want good quality food. I’ve been going to Martino’s for two decades now, and I’ve watched it change from a small family run place in a small community to a more busy family run place in that same, albeit slightly larger, community. The food is exceptionally good. You can’t go wrong with Boar’s Head meat and homemade desserts. Everything about the place feels like someone transplanted a quality deli from up north to an extremely southern small town, and somehow they have perfectly merged. Whenever we have guests in from out of town, I make it a priority to get them up to Martino’s if possible. People are universally impressed, and they always ask to go back. If we show up at peak time, the line is out the door, and I’m fine with that. It’s good enough to wait for.The only negative is that it’s a family business, and they are closed at some times when I wish they were open. I don’t know why people think they should be able to ever see their families or sleep. What are they thinking? I might need an emergency roast beef sandwich with garlic knots on the side!“
“Oh my, I’ve come across a marvelous new option for quick breakfast. I never would have thought a donut shop would have such tasty, croissant breakfast sandwiches ! Perfect size and taste of course. Nice and hot, made to order. Dunkin’ or anywhere else can compare. Order donut holes as well, my kids enjoyed them.“
