If I had a million dollars I would order everything in Lou's bakery every day and share it with my coworkers and family! She has the world's best buttercream I have EVER tasted!!!
I had the best croissant ever this morning. So flaky and just delicious! The cinnamon rolls on Sunday are HUGE and amazing… gotta eat them fresh and bring a friend to split one with. Very welcoming and comfortable, great location and easy parking. Wonderful addition to downtown Mebane!

We had Lou’s make our wedding cake. We chose chocolate cake with the custard filling and OMG it was so good. We got a 9in first tier and 6in for the top. It was about $120. I don’t have my pictures back yet, but it looked as we described and it was delivered (on time), and the venue was about an hour away!! It was simple just icing and some florals. They even helped set up my dessert table, which wasn’t even bought from the bakery (balling on a budget). Unfortunately we didn’t get any of our own cake, but all the guests said it was the best they’ve ever tasted. We went in for a cake testing and were offered 6 types of cake of our choosing (cake and fillings). The woman that sat with us was very friendly and kind. 1000/10. The bite that we smushed on each others faces, was very yummy and far from dry. I am demanding my husband to get me a cupcake with that flavoring.
