“I cannot say enough good things about this business. This is my new regular spot! There is plenty of seating, with a variety of seating options. I adore the window nooks on a rainy day and the downstairs for when I may need to focus a bit more. This coffee shop has plenty of restrooms that make it especially nice for when it is busy. They provide board games and a chess board which I've used a number of times with a good selection of books as well. I must also express how welcoming it feels, Lot 63 being in Old Salem provides a true community feel that you can't quite get anywhere else in Winston. I've also realized just how freeing it is to be somewhere I feel comfortable leaving my things to pick up drinks or run to my car.

Their coffee is very consistently made. It is never too sweet. Their avocado toast is the only food I've tried and absolutely no complaints with that either. They have a wide range of hours open, which is hard to find these days.

“You should help your poor barista in the mornings by scheduling more than one person during the rush up front. As a former service worker it’s agonizing to watch them drowning in orders knowing it could have been prevented. You have a line put the door and 10 people waiting for drinks- only one person who is tasked with running drink register and making drinks. Do better for your employees. Barista was excellent. “I was so glad to find this spot. The staff were great, making sure I was happy, in spite of a minor issue with their grinder that made my pour over take a few minutes longer. It was well worth the wait. The scone by Elderflower bakery was amazing. The coffee was delicious. The barista answered all my questions. I left with a bag of coffee.“

“Great place and I love the Reeses cake slice. The only thing I would suggest is training all employees on serving size when cutting the cakes. It is very inconsistent. My husband got a huge slice while mine was about half the size of his for the same price. I keep coming back though because it is that good!“

“Considering the shop is called Okay Coffee, the coffee I had was so beyond okay! It was delicious. I'd been meaning to stop by for a long time and the timing never worked out, but now that I've had it I'm a fan. I had the Emotional Support Latte and my sister had an iced Nitro latte with brown sugar syrup, and we were both very happy with our drinks. The inside of the shop was peaceful and comfortable, and the ambient music wasn't loud or intrusive. I could easily see studying or working in there. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Next time I'll have to try one of the scones, they looked great but I had breakfast at home so didn't try this time. Highly recommend!“

“Went to The Remedy for the first time today. Great location. Excellent coffee, AMAZING hibiscus mimosa, and super cool staff. I loved the vibe. It was a great place to sit and get my work done today. I got to meet the owners too Burgess and his wife are real cool people. “I'm sad I didn't discover Inti earlier - really special place. They have the normal espresso drinks, but also a bunch of Bolivian specialty drinks and a few Bolivian treats as well. The couple who runs it are the friendliest baristas I've ever met.

They're located in the main lobby of 500 W 5th, just behind the stairs.

One warning for work-from-coffee-shoppers: while there's lots of comfortable seating in the lobby, there are only two spaces with laptop-height counters (both at the bar itself). They do have free Wifi (through the building), but if you're looking for a work space you'll probably need to be pretty literal with the *lap* top.“

“I visited the Indian restaurant the evening before- see review on their page. I thought I’d try the bakery this morning. It’s a beautiful warm day here, no humidity and a light breeze. Sitting outdoors to enjoy my bagel was perfect. The service was excellent… so friendly and welcoming. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a blueberry muffin. My first time having to toast my own bagel-lol- at a restaurant, I don’t have anywhere to go at the moment so time was not a concern. I’m a East Coast girl and love NY bagels.. this bagel was fresh, chewy and soft on the inside just like it’s supposed to be! Once I taste the muffin I will amend my review. Now I want to try their everything bagel!!“

“They were out of Nitro cold brew but Kelsey the one taking my order suggested that I get the regular vanilla sweet cream cold brew with cold foam to replicate the nitro, and even as a former Starbucks employee I didn’t even think to do that and it turned out to be even better! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I came in with an order I received from another Starbucks- just to toss it. When I asked if they wanted me to dump it before tossing it the associate offered to remake it. I told her I would just reorder since it wasn’t their mistake. Once I got up to the register to reorder, they took my order and cleared out the charge. This was incredibly sweet of them. Now I will rather go to this Starbucks vs the original one that messed up my order.

“Went to the museum so my kid could visit for the first time and was more than happy to shop at Cam’s before we ventured inside. We were able to get a snack for my kid and a caffeine boost for me. My husband got a green smoothie, which he loved. The staff were warm and friendly and my coffee was delicious. I’ll definitely stop back by when we visit again.“

“As of this current year, up until this morning, I was thrilled with this location. Being that I work in Clemmons, I used to frequent the Clemmons spot, but that location is absolutely awful. Nice baristas but the wait, and parking lot logistics are so very bad. I started to go out of my way, and used Cloverdale. For a long time, it was my favorite. Great baristas deliver yummy food & service. Then they started with a barista out in the drive through, which IMO, resulted in watery drinks and cold food. So, I started with Jonestown. Not as out of my way, but still backtracking. Anyway, great baristas and yummy food. I even got hit while waiting at the window, by the dude behind me. But even that, didn’t compare to today’s crappy visit. I don’t know where the regular crew were, and I understand that people have bad days, but when you work with the public directly, and you are the face people see before driving away, you really should be at your best and act happy with your job, or at the very least smile and be courteous. The guy seemed deflated and told me it was busy, though I have seen it way worse. I tried to make it better by smiling and attempting to chat, but he just stood there and didn’t engage. Then he handed me one bag, and said have a good day. I said I still needed another bag and a drink. He looked at me with a blank expression. I then looked into the bag, and didn’t see my sandwich. I notified him it was wrong and he didn’t seem concerned. I showed him the bag and he said, yea a bacon Gouda. I said yea but it’s sausage and cheddar, it’s wrong. Again, blank stare. Someone else came over, I repeat myself and that person looks in the bag and says oh they put sausage on it, and walks away. I say to original barista, they also put cheddar, it’s not the sandwich I ordered. He finally says oh yea we made the wrong one. Ugh. So he steps away and comes back with another bag (my bakery item). Hands it to me and says have a good day. I say, I am still waiting for the coffee and the correct sandwich. So he steps away again and hands me the correct sandwich, which looks like someone made it without and care - ciabatta is off the egg and bacon is dangling off the sandwich, fine whatever. I repeat about my coffee. He looks confused. I repeat my coffee order, he steps away, and then as he is handing it to me, he runs his hand all over the top of the lid, including the spout area 🤦🏻‍♀️ It started with ordering. I’ve ordered my coffee this way for years. A grande iced coffee - light ice - with caramel & cream, classic ok. But this time the barista didn’t understand and started asking me if I wanted caramel syrup or drizzle. I have no idea, no one has ever asked me?? Ugh. I’m not typically a complainer, I usually broadcast fabulous service and understand everyone has bad days. But, I don’t think I will return to this location, which doesn’t leave me with many other location options. Now I’m deflated and I’m heading into work. Will I let this crappy morning affect me? No, because I work with the public and that’s not how I roll.“

“Went to the Krispy Kreme in High Point North main Street They were kind of slow looking I've always been leery of this Krispy Kreme We got up there and got some of the ones I did for the 4th of July which we're supposed to be cookie cream filled Well you eat over half a donut and hadn't reached any cream yet so I think We should get another donut in the place of that but what my pet peeve is is why have they taken the lemon field donut that is always been around need to bring back that lemon field donut and you key lime is good but you take that little lemon when that they got now throw it away and put the lemon field back Krispy Kreme needs to stop that. Other than that we like Krispy Kreme I appreciate the one on Stratford they're always on time.“
