“I take some fault in this because I had never eaten pineapple cake from here or seen one; but I ordered this for Christmas. It was HORRIBLE. We threw it out. It had small smidgets of pineapple in the SWEETEST icing I have ever tasted. It was so sweet that nobody could eat it and way too much icing. In all my 70 years, I thought it would have been as I had always seen, pineapple between the layers and icing on the outside. Well I was wrong. That sweet icing with a smidget of pineapple was between the layers and on the outside. I never expected any refund, but maybe a conversation and a little concern for my inconvenience. I called the week after Christmas and spoke with an employee. To this February 20 date, the owner NEVER called as was promised. I have not been back to get my favorite German chocolate slices because this is POOR customer service. I know my business was nothing compared to regular customers who purchase a lot but she could have at least called and showed a little concern. My adult children asked for pineapple, but we had to give it to the trash can.“
“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!“
“Very cute cafe with speciality drinks with seasonal flavors. I highly recommend the Trainwreck chai latte! The outside seating area is really cute for sunny days. Must go to place for a nice cup of coffee! The owner and cafe team are also very friendly (recommended local things to do for our short visit to high point)“

“Stop by today because I was working down the road and needed my coffee fix I was going to go to Starbucks but that was about 15 minutes away and I remembered YELP can help me find a small business coffee shop and it did not disappoint 4 minutes walk from where I was working at, inside what I'm guessing is the old highpoint mall but it is right next to the DMV tag office was a nice little cafe the gentleman that was working was very friendly and helpful I got a hot white chocolate mocha and a frozen white chocolate mocha with caramel drizzle came out about $13 and I felt bad that I made everybody wait for him to take my order that I gave him a little extra to pay for a few peoples coffee behind me“
“Moved to NC from closer to Seattle area and I have been missing really good fresh coffee. This. Is. It! Best coffee I have tried so far and I have tried many. My previous favorite was Peets but FosterHobbs is better! If you want the best try it. Especially if you grind at home and make your own! Fresh roasted and the service can't be beat.“
“I stopped by lils coffee shop while strolling around the holiday market yesterday and I knew from my first sip of gingerbread latte that this would be my go to coffee spot in high point from now on. Located inside Cogdon Yards this little nook of a coffee shop is serving up big flavor. They have a regular menu as well as a holiday menu and they also serve cocktails too! The staff was friendly chatting with me while my order was being made. The coffee came out quickly which we always love to see. High point is lucky to have you Lils Coffee Bar!“
“Placed an online pick up order for a dozen donuts. You can pick from an overwhelming amount of combinations for each donut. The donuts were hot and fresh when I picked them up. Best donuts I've ever had. Knocked off a star because I payed to have the box wrapped in bday paper and it wasn't. I'm sure they would have rectified it, but I was on a time crunch. Will be going back.“

But what really sets them apart is their scrumptious crepes - I mean, who wouldn't want a sweet and crispy companion to their drink?!
