I love love love Demhaj Poetry Lounge. They are not like family they are family. I recommend coming here to laugh, love, inspire, get inspired even talk about God. If you’re looking for a place to go go there !
I've been here several times for Thursday night poetry. Attended last night for their first Soul Food Sunday. Such a treat and it's always good vibes. The owner and her son are lovely people. The food was very good and seating is limited for Soul Food Sunday so if you see a ticket then you better get it since it's a much more intimate and personal experience. If you're anywhere near High Point, check them out! I drive over an hour. I look forward to upcoming events.
