“Been stopping here for over a decade on trips back home to NC. They make a solid americano and London fog, and their cookies are DELICIOUS ? I’m on a plane back to the west coast right now and my mouth is watering thinking about that chocolate chip ? Yum!“

Goose and the Monkey Brew House Brewery • $$
401 S Railroad St, Lexington

“This was a very pleasant afternoon, enjoying a couple of beers from Goose and The Monkey. It's a family sort of place with a lot of kids running about. They have a separate food place inside, which I assume is how they avoid dealing with the issues of food licensing as well as beer plus it means they can allow dogs inside since "they don't sell food."

I enjoyed the L3 lager and then the Cosmic Peach at a table way in the back with a great view of the goings on. And the pizza was fabulous but that's a separate review.

On a warm sunny day, all the doors were open and it was super pleasant to be here.“

“I will never lie. I went to a few Duncan donuts & each time it was absolutely horrible! Either bad staff, laziness, bad coffee or even workers who don’t know their job. This Duncan by FAR has amazing workers and delicious coffee! I didn’t have to ask for any extras like the other places these workers knew the coffee & how it was supposed to be served. Amazing manners to!“
