“I absolutely love koco Java’s oldest location! I usually go through the drive-thru, and even though I’m not always going inside, the girls there are always super, super sweet, kind, and welcoming. Every single time I come through, they make the experience feel personal and genuinely enjoyable.

“Wonderful beautifully decorated space with stunning original artwork. You are greeted by cheerful staff with whom you can purchase a coffee/latte/expresso/ spritzer/wine or beer. You can book time in the cat room or just chill out on the cafe side in their chili vibe seating. The cats in the cat room (typically about 12) are also very chill which is a testament to the great care they receive by their caregivers. The cats are also available for adoption. Mac Tabby Cat Cafe is the only cat cafe group in the country with 3 locations and is a little less than 10 years old. Since the opening of their first location in the NoDa district of Charlotte followed by one in Concord and then Salisbury, they have adopted out nearing 2500 cats! What a great mission with a wonderful group of hardworking people who make it work!“
