“I had a red eye and lemon scone. I didn't plan on the scone, but I'm glad I got it. It was delicious. The coffee was great too. I got exactly what I asked for. The baristas were friendly and helpful. And for the amount you get, the price is fantastic! If you're in the area stop by and give it a try. Don't just take my word for it.“
“I love sitting down here with friends, it has a great comfy atmosphere. The muffin are good and the coffee can sometimes be watery, but i like all the different flavors and seasonal drinks. The coffee cake seasonal drink is my current favorite“
“Groundwork Common is my go-to spot in Concord! The employees are more friendly and approachable than any place else in the city! They’re a great addition to the city-scape and they provide excellent service and a quality product! 10/10 recommended!!“
“This place is magical! Phenomenal coffee, wines, food and whipped cream. We are huge fans, came from the Concord Diner but definitely staying here!Vegetarian options: There are egg or veggie or chip and dip options.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodatingParking: Space for at least 30 cars. Plenty“
“This place has the BEST sour cream donuts!!! I mean they literally make my mouth water as I’m eating it lol. The batter for sour cream donuts is different than regular donuts and they do it best! It’s a more dense, moist and just perfectly fluffed donut with crispy edges and icing. And they’re pretty big! My fav are the sour cream with maple icing. ? They even have this slight flavor I can’t really put my finger, like maybe a hint of cinnamon or even lemon? It’s not overpowering at all it’s just something there that really gives it so much like actual flavor, not just a plain bland donut with regular icing. I don’t know what it is but it’s sweet, scrumptious, and just makes you go to food heaven!!!Their regular donuts with holes are delicious too! My kids get the ones with cereal toppings lol. They’re not as dense and cakey (dry) as Dunkin’ Donuts but not as light and airy as Krispy kremeKreme’s , it’s like a perfect in between and taste’s like a homemade from scratch batter. They’re also huge!It is a lil pricey, but such a treat for our family! I got a dozen assorted donuts (all with holes) and an apple juice for about $24. I gave the man $30 all in $5 bills and told him to keep the change but I noticed the register had a change amount as if he had only put in $25 so I don’t know if he even realized I gave him an extra $5 lol. I hope he didn’t think I was only tipping him like .94!Anywho… the inside is pretty small and could use a lil update, but we always get them to go anyway. The couple who I assume run it are always friendly and patient. They also have a small selection of ice cream but we haven’t tried that yet. We’ve gotten donuts from here numerous times over the years and it’s always been great. These last ones were just UH-MAY-ZING!!Kid-friendliness: The display case is low enough where my 4 yr old could pick out a donut on the top shelf, and there wasn’t anything around that I felt I had to keep my kids away from in fear of them getting hurt or breaking lol.“
“I’ve shopped here several times and had a pleasant visit each time. The most recent time the ladies in the shop helped me find ingredients for a cake and were so kind (I used the chai, ground cardamom, ground ginger, and star anise to make the cake today, and it was a big hit). I’d definitely recommend this business.“
“I absolutely love this place I stumbled upon it from a TikTok! And I couldn’t be more happier I did I love the atmosphere in the manager is an absolute delight! I definitely recommend checking this place out specially, if you’re like me and Kinda on the goth girl side or a Halloween lover, this could definitely be your new coffee spot and I can’t say I blame you if it does become your favorite new coffee spot. The menu is incredible with all kinds of special drinks. They offer other goodies as well such as T-shirts, stickers and things like that they have little games on the tables for you to play while you enjoy your coffee and conversations don’t even get me started on the pastries those are to die for, also the manager makes and designs custom earrings. You’re definitely gonna wanna pick up a pair of those ask for myself. I can’t wait to get back to the special spot and I hope my review encourages you to check it out as well.“
“Once in a blue moon someone does something nice that makes your whole day better! That happened at Koco Java yesterday when I bought my normal 2 bags of delicious whole beans and a latte, the owner gave me the latte for FREE! It was very kind and unexpected, made my day! I've been going here for years. They roast their own beans and even have decaf whole bean, which is very hard to find. Their drinks. Both hot and cold are always delicious as is their food selection! The people who work here are super friendly and I always get great service. I also love the atmosphere because you can go in and sit down and visit with someone while you have a drink or you can go in and work quietly on your laptop. It's a great atmosphere and a great place!“
“We had thought it was nice to find an allergy friendly bakery. We were told the cakes were not cross-contaminated; however, I got severely sick later. There apparently IS cross-contamination of some kind. The young girl working the counter could have been nicer. It seemed to be a chore to wait on customers. The furniture is plastic and not comfortable. Hopefully, as it grows in business, the owner can upgrade the furniture, but they do need to make excellent customer service a priority so that they can grow. Most importantly, do not lead us to believe it is safe to eat when it is not. We would have been happy to leave and find somewhere else to go, rather than suffer needlessly.Dietary restrictions: We were told that the cakes are not cross-contaminated with nuts or tree nuts, but I still got sick, so apparently, they are.Parking: Parking is on Innes or Main or the small lot across the street. Expect to walk a ways during busy times of the day.“
“Super cool coffee shop in downtown Landis. Who would have thought! I love it. Absolutely gorgeous inside. All the vibes. But the coffee is what we care about, am I right? So, I ordered a latte. It's a little on the sweeter side, but the espresso was delicious. Far superior to Starbucks. Cashier told me about their specials and was really nice. Can't wait to go back and try more things.“
“This picky eater approves! I'm usually averse to food that tastes *healthy* but Juice Life's produce is so fresh and crafted so well, I enjoy pretty much everything on the menu. Their juices are delicious - I lost about 20lbs after switching from fast food to JL! The staff has some of the nicest personalities, you can tell everyone genuinely enjoys what they do. I feel very comfortable in there. The owners interact directly with customers and build relationships with everyone.“
“Wonderful spot for a cozy afternoon. The owner is so friendly and open - I went on a day they were closed just to take a look as I was passing through town and when he spotted me, he opened up shop just to make me a cup! Definitely recommend and will make the trip to be back again!“
“This is a cute, unique little coffee place.I loved the atmosphere as well as the products.I got my latte, which was quite good! They’re located right by a fun walkway in town that had swings and other shops to check out.I would love to get a good coffee here and get some with it reading done.Check it out!“
“Lovely cafe in downtown Salisbury. Went to get some stuff done, and it had a wonderful atmosphere, good service and plenty of places to sit for it’s size. Plenty of drink options, of which I ended up getting an iced chai with oat milk, and it was superb.Parking: Street parking located in front of the building, however being downtown it’s not hard to walk to if you park somewhere else.“
“This is a nicely set up coffee shop. They have a spacious stage area, ample tables and chairs, along with comfy pub chairs. The Chicken Salad on a croissant is very tasty, as well as the Blueberry Muffins. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is great. We enjoyed our time there.“
“We happened upon this coffee shop over a month ago and enjoyed the kind service! The atmosphere was fun and the Chai tea was spot on. ? I had to return, and again had a wonderful experience. 5/5 stars both times. Yolanda is very sweet and optimistic.“
“Update _ March 2024:We returned to this particular Krispy Kreme on day 18 of our 10,000 mile railfanning adventure because one year ago we were treated so kindly by the staff at this location (as we'd never been in a Krispy Kreme before)We arrived today and the staff were...less hospitable. No problem. We just ordered and ate our donuts, watched the process for a while and left.It was nice to have arrived in time for a limited time donut event though (st Patrick's Day donuts)The filled (cookies and cream filled st Patrick's day themed) donut that I got was almost all dough...barely a smidgen of gooey gooey creamy goodness inside :(It was pretty to look at thoughMy donut loving partner was surprised that 6 donuts costs over $13March 2023:5 stars!!!!This was my first visit to a Krispy Kreme and the staff were SO NICE!!!They offered to take my photo and offered me a free paper hat and showed me the donut making process...which you can see through the glass wall!I had so much fun and the donuts were beautiful looking and amazing!Fresh outta the fryer was so good!!Thank you so much for everything you did to make my visit amazing!!“
“Enchanting and inviting. It's absolutely amazing. We came for a mini Bible study sessh. We all got different drinks and they were delicious. The list is vast, but the baristas are blessed. They created unique coffee Infusions that tantalize. The spirit was do strong 2 members came to tears during discussion. The ambiance was so calm. I love that they write messages on each cup. It served everyone's heart. I would give pictures, but you deserve to see your own special message.“
“Everytime the hubs and I come to town, to check on our rental for repairs, etc we have never had a bad meal, and/service. We usually have Cheyenne, who is our regular server. She does an amazing job, as well as the other staff, they treat everyone like family and thats a great thing nowadays. The meal prices are also good and they don't shrink the portions, like high end eateries. Will keep coming and its 10 years this month that we've been coming. Great/ Awesome job y'all“
“SO thankful to have found this place after moving away from Concord where the only choice I had was the overpriced and underwhelming coffee places that always seem to have some agenda they’re promoting. The Holy Grind is a little haven for relaxation or meeting with friends and enjoying fellowship. Encouraging words line the walls. It’s an escape from the crazy world going on all around. It’s warm and welcoming. Such a great coffee shop!“
