“Okay the only reason I put 4 is because there was a girl and I'm not tryna be racist but she was black and black headed girl with a slick back and she was working here at 2:05 pm on Sunday date 3,9,25 and she charge us for stuff we didn't ask for took forever and didn't give us the thing that you put on the table and we order dine in and she was rude . And don't know what she doing but I put a 4 bc how nice I am and also bc the other workers are much better and Jhos is amazing worker even if he has something wrong with him he is amazing .“
“I went to Karaoke 11/29/2025 and it was a BLAST!! This place gives you a very warm feeling. The crowd they attracted make it feel like you’ve known them forever. Both events felt like I was surrounded by family. The owner and her sun are so pleasant always smiling and they are so welcoming. I loveeee this place, if you’re looking for an intimate friendly safe environment I highly recommend Demhaj Poetry lounge❤️“

“BEST coffee in high point. Owner is so friendly and talks to you as if your family. Very intentional and kind! One of my favorite things she does is makes the ice coffee with coffee ice cubes! As a mom who takes some time to finish my drink this is a must! 10/10 recommend.“

“My sister Charme brought cakes, cookies and fudge covered brownies for my birthday yesterday all the way to Gaffney SC. Everything was absolutely delicious. I think she is trying to get me to come visit her more often because this was literally the best chocolate fudge cake I’ve had since my Grandmother’s. I highly recommend!“

“I want to share how appreciative I am of Avery at the High Point location. I handed her some cash for tip (mind you I got a FREE drink) and she came back to my car as she saw I had accidentally included a twenty dollar bill with the several ones. She was quick to confirm with me if was correct. I can't say enough how much her honesty and integrity meant to me.“

“I always look forward to my morning coffee. The specialty coffees are absolutely my favorite but I can always count on my old standby, an oat milk latte, to be the smoothest and perfect start to my day. The baristas are always so kind and knowledgeable. The grab and go lunches they carry are a lifesaver on busy days. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area.“

“I love this place for real— it is SUCH a shame they have such rowdy customers in the reviews.
I come in with my kids everyday and they always ask for cake pops to which the barista at the counter always greets me and says hi and even knows my kids names.
The Barista Bella is super kind and knows how to keep up a conversation!! She’s super kind and even fought off a rowdy customer for me once… she needs a raise!!
But seriously though, these crusty customers are freaking crazy— they’re complaining on google reviews about how they weren’t greeted when they came in and how Starbucks (a luxury expense) costs $7 for a Frappuccino (not even coffee atp.) some people have 0 brain cells and it shows.
I come here once a month for my business ventures with my husband and every time the drinks are consistent and delicious. I can’t fathom how perfect this place is.
Honestly? Every Starbucks in the high point area is just great!!

Vegetarian options: I love veggies. But if you’re strictly vegetarian you’re unfortunately limited!!
Either way, concepts of thoughts and prayers!
Dietary restrictions: If I had a diet(130 pounds going strong by the way!!)
this place would still be great as the baristas are knowledgeable and know their menu items to a TEA. (Get it? Tea?)
Parking: A lot of parking because they’re in the center of a lot of spaces and it’s great.
Kid-friendliness: The baristas here are super kind to my kids and even gave a free cake pop one time when my son dropped it.
Wheelchair accessibility: If I had a wheelchair I would never want to get up because this place is so nice“

“My adult daughter came in this morning on the way to visit her grandmother, who is in the hospital for what will likely be one of her last visits. The ladies there sent her out with a free muffin and a prayer. Thank you for showing kindness to a person who desperately needed kindness to be shown to her at that moment. You just never know when you truly are the answer to someone's prayer.“
