“Absolutely amazing coffeeshop, hidden in a corner of a shopping center. They have treats from Italy, the crepes and baklava are SO good! The espresso is probably the best we've ever had. “Walked in during a hot day in desperate need of a cold beverage. Kyle greeted me, very kind and fixed me a strawberry banana smoothie. So refreshing! Great atmosphere, wonder customer service, fair prices and large drink/snack variety. He accepted Apple Pay, cards, and cash (thank goodness because Apple Pay was all I had!). 10/10 will be coming back“

“I got the mocha caramel frappe with oat milk, a Dubai chewy cookie and coffee. Delicious! My favorite coffee bar sold their business recently and I've been searching every since, trying different shops and Cafe Bom Bom is the best! I'm a serious unofficial coffee connoisseur, if I tell you the coffee is good, believe me! Mrs Gini was so patient and kind and she remembered my order when I came back! It's so cute in there, very neat and clean. She has cool Lego displays of major cities her and her husband visited over the years and other unique decor displayed around the counter. I absolutely love this cute little café! Their hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 10am - 8pm, closed on Sunday. Please visit them and tell Mrs Gini the oatmilk mocha frappe lady said hello!“

“Fig & Olive is local gem of a pastry coffee shop. Stumbled upon this one while exploring he area for a possible relixation. Very friendly baristas, and they do these amazing lattes and fresh pastries that are just perfect if you want to hang out with a book or just relax. I tried the pistachio cream iced latte and a biscoff rolled croissant. So worth checking out!“

There seems to be this stigma now days that coffee shops and bakeries cannot support one another but that isn’t the case! “I stopped by while doing a summer program, this place has an amazing vibe. The staff were very friendly and patient with me as I ordered. I decided to try something new and it ended up being really good. I could picture this being a nice spot to do schoolwork and enjoy a little treat!“

However, the service was unfortunately very poor and below expectations.

There were three girls working, but they were unorganized. All of them were doing every role at the same time, yet there was no real attention to customer service. This caused significant delays and lack of care. There were no napkins on the table, no staff member came to serve our table, and the hostess did not come to our table even once after the food was served.

Also, the restroom had no napkins, which is unacceptable.

When we finished, we waited a long time for someone to bring the bill, but no one came, so we had to go ourselves. Even then, they delayed our payment and took a new order, even though we clearly wanted to leave!

I would come back again only for the food, but I really hope they improve the service and organize the staff better — with one person assigned to each role (cashier, table service, etc.).

“I love this Starbucks. The baristas are always friendly, the store is clean, and it’s just a lovely environment. Sure it’s a little busy in the mornings, but it’s the only Starbucks around in a college town so just be patient with them. ☕️ 🖤“

“This was across the street from my hotel, and I decided to get a coffee as I am a rewards member. There was a little bit of a wait, which I understood, but my drink was cold; I ordered a hot latte. This was obvious as the cup was cool to the touch. It took me close to 5 minutes to flag down the person that waited on me. She took my coffee and remade it, hot this time. The taste was good, but it should have been served hot in the first place, especially since my ticket showed that it should have been hot.“

“I had a great experience at this McDonald’s today around 12 PM. I got my food quickly, and the guy at the front was really on task—he was making sure orders were going out promptly and checking in with customers to see if they’d been helped.

There’s plenty of space to sit inside, and I noticed they really keep up with cleanliness. The drink station looked clean and organized, which isn’t always the case at other locations.

I also used the $6 app deal (Big Mac, fries, and a Coke), and it was a great value. Solid experience overall—I’d definitely come back to this location.“
