“Service was best part. The hot chocolate machine was out and she fixed it immediately. She was very pleasant and courteous. This was December 26 at approximately 1015 am I didn't catch her name but she deserves kudos for going above and beyond.“

“This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!“
“How have I not written a review of the Sage Mule until now?! We love this place and my only complaint is that they aren't open more hours ha ha ha. This is simply one of our favorite places to go eat outside at. They will almost always have the outside seating available, which is really rare here in Greensboro (sadly). The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. Our go-to is the blue plate special for brunch but you can't go wrong with their brisket and any number of other specials.“
“Coffee shops are my jam. Thrive is such a cute and quaint place I'm so glad I stopped by. THe barista was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The space was open and full of natural light. I love the plants and cozy vibe. Will definitely be back the next time I stop through downtown Greensboro.“
“J'adore! Rainy day, jazz music, coffee, makes it perfect to work on my studies, I don't really into the last piece Borough locates in the corner of double oaks B&B, you can sit on the first floor or outside if the weather is nice, you can order both from inside and outside, how convenient! If you choose to stay inside, you can enjoy the classic interior of the house and some jazz music. Outside it lovely too, but it's not an option for this weather for me. Coffee is always good! I used to get it from the weather spoon museum location on UNCG campus, baristas are always nice and are always ready to tailor the drink to your taste, and they are patient. I will definitely come back again!“
“Visited for the first time today for the latte flight, and the vibe and space was even better than we expected. So many varied, cozy seating options. Staff was super friendly. The mocha dreams muffin was perfect and moist. And we didn’t expect the latte flight to be set flavors. We thought it would be build-your-own situation, but we were really pleased with the selection! Rosemary brown sugar was our favorite. Will definitely be back often!“
“It was my first time here and I loved it. It was relaxing inside and smelled good. They have a lot of teas and other things as well. I got throat and lung tea, Sahara sunset, and a sample of lavender rose vanilla. I will definitely be back. Everyone was helpful and friendly.“

“Cute little boutique/coffee bar/gift shop with a huge selection of home decor, fall and holiday stuff and cute gifts. The barista was very nice and helpful, and offered us complementary mimosas for celebrating the second anniversary! Definitely a must go stop for snacks, coffee or tea if you're not in the mood for shopping.“
“This was my first time visiting “Home Grounds”. The shop does have a nice inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The space is clean and airy and would be great if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy your drink and snack while you work or maybe meet up with friends.There are several chairs positioned at a bar height table facing the street that looks out onto the street. There is also a bar at the barista counter with several seats.There are a few tables with chairs situated alongside the right wall and within a central area closer to the front of the shop, there is a sofa and a couple of other chairs grouped in like a “family room” arrangement, unfortunately, there are no tables alongside nor in front of the chairs - only little ones on the ends of the couch.There are a few wall decorations. One showcasing the shop name which is over the wall behind the comfy looking couch and another showcasing the shop and staff which is on the opposite wall.Along the wall with the staff showcasing, there is a small table serving as a bookshelf with several books to enjoy while in the shop. There is also shelving holding decorative items as well as “Home Grounds” merchandise. The merchandise consists of sweatshirts and t-shirts.On this particular visit, there was only one staff member available (as far as I could tell). It was not busy at all, there was one individual sitting at a window spot enjoying their purchase and there was a party of 3 sitting at the furthest table to the back of the shop. The barista was preparing the order for the party of three. Although I was in no rush, she did stop to take my order. At this point, one individual from the party of three came up to ask how much longer on their order because they were in a rush. The barista was fabulous and completed there orders and then started my order.The barista, so sorry I didn’t catch her name, was helpful in answering my questions about my items. I ordered from the Spring Time menu choosing a Honey Lavender latte made with Oat Milk and a cinnamon roll flower. Both were delicious. The pricing was reasonable for the location.I did have a hard time reading the menu on the wall. The lettering is rather small.And although there are laminated paper menus on the countertop, they too are rather small in print. I were glasses and I had a slight struggle.There is also a back exit to the gravel parking lot outback. “I love walking down to Union Coffee to see what new single origin coffees they have to try. In the summer, they also have some amazing and original coffee tonics on the menu. Definitely give them a go if you're visiting downtown Greensboro!“

“I’m always on the hunt for nice and spacious coffee spots to work from it, this place is so far the nicest around downtown. Nice chill vibe, good wifi and great deco. A couple sandwiches on the menu wouldn’t hurt. I tried a bagel with pesto cream cheese and that was so spot on!“
“One of the best kava’s we’ve ever had. Loved that with the way they brew their tea so no added syrup is needed. Highly recommend the crush (for experienced) amazing service, good atmosphere. “My crew was enjoying the temporary ice skating rink downtown when I needed to warm up a bit. I walked over to Lawn Service located beside LeBauer Park. I ordered a hot chocolate at the bar. The bartender was super nice. She took my order right away and I received my drink quickly. The hot chocolate was very good. Just the right amount of chocolate and texture. Yum! It came in one size and it was a bit small, but it was tasty and was good enough for my visit. If I stayed longer, I would love to have a bigger cup. If you don't sit at the bar, there are tables between the two restaurants or you can sit on a bench along Davie St or closer to the park. I will definitely visit this location again. They had a great selection of beer and wine. Their menu also had a selection of baked goods (waffles, cookies). Stop by! Great addition to our downtown area.“
“This was our first time here and it was great! We went through the drive through. They have like a million and 1 drinks from lattes, to drip coffee, to all sorts of drinks. “This is a relatively new Starbucks. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks inside another store, or any restaurant in a store, but I often go to this Target, and I find this Starbucks not too bad for one. There is one located in the other Target at New Garden that I like better because it feels more like it's own store since it goes deeper inside. Usually, I sit at Starbucks to draw and have a nice drink, and this one is great because you can draw the people as they pass bye in Target. A great place to take a break and relax when shopping“
“It wasn’t my expectation. Duck donuts are tasty horrible, expensive and donuts fall apart when i grab it and quality doesn’t look good and too sweet, the donuts shape looks bad! I won’t come back and won’t suggest friend to go there anymore! But service was good, donuts quality needs to improve!“
“Been to this location several times and it's by far my favorite in the city. It's very spacious and clean. Love the music. The staff is friendly and they pay attention to other people complicated orders (mine is so basic). Their ability to tend to the online, indoor, and drive-thru orders is impressive.“
