“This is my favorite McDonald's, they are always so nice and get our order correct everytime. I will drive pass other McDonald's just to go to this one.”
“Service was best part. The hot chocolate machine was out and she fixed it immediately. She was very pleasant and courteous. This was December 26 at approximately 1015 am I didn't catch her name but she deserves kudos for going above and beyond.”
“Maria and Andrea provided an excellent service. They prepared the food for my family like pros. Fast service, well cooked, very amicable and attentive. Food was on point . Famiky like kings traveling for the Holidays can feel comfortable to stop by.”
“Your waiting to be served and no one is in line ,they will look your way and say nothing front line employees hanging around drive thru, store dirty especially fry station old ? fries surrounding fry station saw employee using hands just nasty , I used to manage a store nothing like the ”
“We just ordered dinner last night from Saint Louis Saveurs and it was AMAZING!! I lived in Dakar for a year and Senegalese food is still my happy place! While the menu doesn’t list all the incredible options, ask what they have each night and you will be not be disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed the yassa and maafe, even my kids devoured it! We can’t wait to order again soon!”
“Fantastic Loco Moco, just be sure to get the rice under the meat and gravy, not on the side. It's about the presentation and also the gravy soaks into the rice better but they put my rice on the side for some reason? Other than that, I highly recommend this place.”
“The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, all were beyond expectations. The service we received, from talking with one of the owners - who was behind the bar making the hand-crafted cocktails- to the food, were absolutely wonderful. You walk in to a welcoming and friendly setting with a personal feel, that leaves you with the desire to come back every weekend. These guys not only put an immense amount of thought into their menu, but also their delivery of service. P”
“This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!”
“We stopped in just because it was a pizza place but, after talking to Mario and trying his food I kinda wish he would close up shop and head down to where we live in Florida. It was amazing, the food, family and Mario was so entertaining. Goodluck to everyone at Times Square Pizza. It was delicious.”
“This Irish-themed restaurant has good service, indoor and outdoor seating, and some tasty food choices. I enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage; my wife's burger was good, though not quite great; and our fried Brussels sprouts appetizer was the star of the show. There is a nice selection of wine, beer, mixed drinks, and whiskey.”
“I have a confession, despite the wide love for this restaurant, my visit last week is the first time I have ever gone. But not my first time at Jerusalem Market! I live very close to their original location out toward Sedgefield, and it's always a tasty place to stop in for fresh food. I also have no shortage of great middle eastern and Mediterranean type foods near me, so going all the way to downtown to eat just isn't something I need to do. That said, I was meeting my pop for lunch in downtown, and we both decided to give this place a shot. It's a great cafe downtown with an excellent location, situated on Elm street with several other choices. The food is made fresh to order, so unless you order something served cold, just keep in mind there's a 15-20 minute cook. This is not something I mind of course. I ordered the Armenian wrap, which is beef tenderloin with provolone, baba ghanouj, yogurt sauce and spices in one of their flatbreads. Comes with Z'atar chips, and I added a small cup of hummus for an upcharge. Personally. I'd like to see hummus come with those chips as part of the price, but it wasn't too bad. For a downtown cafe serving high quality food, prices here are reasonable. The flavor was definitely on point! Texture was excellent too, from the doughy pull of the flatbread, to the creamy sauce and baba. It was great. The Za'tar chips were crispy and spiced nicely. Dipping in the hummus, great combo. I had water to drink, but keep in mind all other beverages are bottled or canned. Dad got a nice fresh salad, chunks of feta and a chicken kabob and also enjoyed it. Overall, excellent healthy option downtown, a very nice cafe run by friendly people.”
“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!”
“I've now had some really good experiences with authentic Peruvian food in the past few months. The cuisine at Inka checked the boxes and was delicious! The deserts deserve a mention of their own. Nice variety and as strong as you will find in a Peruvian restaurant. The service was strong up front, then absent after the meals were dropped with no check in. This is the reason a one star was dropped and I hate that. The table shared a fried seafood appetizer which was marvelous! I had the Tauco Tauco seafood which was tasty. Portion size adequate, but a few more shrimp would have been perfect. The Pico Sour was totally yum! I was at a table of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts however were the hero with most offering authentic and made in-house. Especially enjoyed was the Chocolucama served in a jar with an impressive amount of Lucama. The house coffee was super! The bill was processed with no issue. The value was outstanding! There are a few Inka Grill's in Virginia with the original in Roanoke. A 4 star with deduction for no follow up after entrees were dropped. I would 100% return.”
“My friend and I had brunch at Borough Coffee and we LOVED IT!! The service was superb, the surroundings and outdoor area was fantastic. Also the coffee and food was very good as well. 10/10 recommended!”
“This coffee shop offers more than a great cup of Joe. The baristas are wizards with their signature drinks. I had the Sophya, and it was great! In addition to the coffee, the shop is decorated in a way that makes anyone feel comfortable. It's a great hangout spot too!”
“Delicious French cuisine and a lovely atmosphere amazing restaurant doing phenomenal things to better the community so impressed the food is simply delicious and the business model is a breath of fresh air”
“Kendra was knowledgeable and eager to assist me with a drink selection (the honey vanilla cinnamon latte with oat milk was so flavorful)!!. She gave a great nod to the blueberry bread, which was fresh and made with love! The entire atmosphere was a vibe and will definitely be a go to; as it should be for you as well!”
“Coffee shops are my jam. Thrive is such a cute and quaint place I'm so glad I stopped by. THe barista was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The space was open and full of natural light. I love the plants and cozy vibe. Will definitely be back the next time I stop through downtown Greensboro.”
“Very flavorful food, I loved the chicken kabobs with cabbage, and the red beans and rice was very good...my dish came with a jerk sauce I used to pour over my chicken kabobs....delicious ”
“Best restaurant in Greensboro. Pricey to be sure, but it's all small plates, so you have more say in how much you spend vs. other nice restaurants. The food is art.”
“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!”
“If you're looking for a fine dine in restaurant downtown greensboro, check out Undercurrent. The food is great and the customer service is top notch. You will love the vibe!”
“Looking for the ultimate cheesecake fix? Alex's Cheesecakes has you covered! With a variety of delicious flavors and a cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet cravings. Treat yourself today and discover a whole new level of dessert delight!”
“I always enjoy my times at Blue Denim. The food is simply amazing as is the atmosphere. The dinning experience along with the service is unmatched locally. The only suggestion is to have a few more vegetarian and pescatarian options , please bring the tofu back to your wonderful menu. Perhaps more farm to table and wild caught fish (not farm raised as the Shrimp is) would be fantastic. Love this place!”
“Super cute spot with much easier parking than directly downtown and some of the best cold brew I've had in a long time. Highly recommend! I'm glad I found this spot while visiting Greensboro.”
“This was our second experience at elm street grill. We ABSOLUTELY love this establishment. From the food, to the service, to the spirits. 10/10 recommend for your next outing. We drive over an hour to come back and hang with the staff. They make you feel special from the moment you walk in the door!”
“I was looking for a place to get loose teas. They have a nice little shop with some of the most friendly people working there. I'm just getting started with something other than pre bagged tea and they talked me through many aspects. They have many other items besides just tea, so I would recommend checking them out. There are two tables inside to sit and have a cup there and a pastry. Not a huge pastry selection, but a nice place to talk to some friendly staff and have a cup of tea.”
“Such a cozy venue. I’ve been here many times to perform and to be an audience member. The staff is always super friendly, and the music sounds great. They seriously have some of the best sound in North Carolina. The Flat Iron is far one of the best live music venues in Greensboro!”
“Went to home grounds this past Saturday morning and was so amazed at how good the coffee was. Starbucks has nothing on this place and the workers were so friendly. I got a the salt and ice or something like that shaken espresso and a peach green tea and was extremely happy about both of them. Haven’t stopped talking about this place for the past 3 days! A must try for sure!!!”
“The staff here are awesome with a warm family friendly atmosphere. I always get the house special or the Jumbo slice. These guys have one of the best pies in town.”
