“Great little store with a surprising amount of stuff. Picked up some chicken breasts for a better price then anywhere else. Some things are a little high priced but that's expected with local owned stores.”
“The Triad has some excellent public golf courses in general, but Bryan Park in Greensboro has consistently been one of the best for decades. Featuring two courses, one a Champions course for more seasoned golfers, and the "Players course" for intermediate skill levels, everything about this places is a well oiled machine. On arrival, there is plenty of parking and it is all completely safe from any errant golf shots. The clubhouse is getting a little old, but still very clean inside and out and attractive looking with lots of stonework. Pro shop staff couldn't be more courteous, and if you live in Greensboro, you get a discount for being a resident. From there you'll get your cart, load up your clubs, and proceed to the starter where if you've arrived sufficiently early, you'll get a complimentary bag of balls to warm up with (irons only, the range is only about 200 yards long). There you'll get a scorecard depending on which course you are playing, my review is for the Players course because I am a bogey golfer on most occasions. The Champions course is truly quite difficult from what I understand, and I simply am not ready for that. The Players course has tee boxes for any skill level, but I would say this is still not a course to take a beginner to learn. The course features lots of sharp doglegs guarded by either trees or large fairway bunkers. There is also plenty of water in play, with a lot of 2nd shots needing to carry water with a mid-iron. Finally, greenside, you can count on several sand traps, some of which a beginner would simply need to pick up out of because they are deep. If you're not at the point where you reliably get the ball into the air and have a decent idea of your various club yardages, it could be a long and expensive day. The course is beautiful. Even in early spring when I played before the fairways can green up and theres a true separation between rough and fair, or green and fringe, it was still picturesque. Lots of manicured features, good landscaping, traps were in fluffy condition with the exception of one fairway bunker which was just clay that I dropped out of. Wind is definitely a factor, as you are lakeside for much of the day. Stop and enjoy the views when it isn't your turn to hit. At the end of the day, I had some difficulties putting. Early season golf is what it is, but some of it was surely my own fault. 93 is a good score here for me, this was a worthy adversary. I only had a light snack at the turn, so can't comment too much on the grill, but my buddy said his hot dogs were fantastic! I enthusiastically recommend Bryan Park for any golfers that have some seasoning under their belt. Best in the area, especially for the price!”
“The food is good, yet typical grill like food. The servers though, not sure how their income is, if they're working for tips they should be in better moods. I feel bad for them if they depend on the tips. Because it's not a gift, it's for people to earn.”
“My husband and I love going here for date night, they also have the best brunch in town! I love that they rotate the menu with the season, I almost always get their seafood specials, the food is always excellent. Thursday night date nights here are some of my favorites. Must have their french toast at brunch and their truffle fries at lunch/dinner, if the Jagerschnitzel is on the menu-get it-it's fabulous”
“Came in first time and the staff was so friendly and helpful providing the perfect recommendation. Malik and Jules assisted with my bowl and provided great recommendations. The lamb meatballs and the garlic sauce was amazing. Place was clean with amazing staff that go above and beyond and wonderful food .”
“We just ordered dinner last night from Saint Louis Saveurs and it was AMAZING!! I lived in Dakar for a year and Senegalese food is still my happy place! While the menu doesn’t list all the incredible options, ask what they have each night and you will be not be disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed the yassa and maafe, even my kids devoured it! We can’t wait to order again soon!”
“Fantastic Loco Moco, just be sure to get the rice under the meat and gravy, not on the side. It's about the presentation and also the gravy soaks into the rice better but they put my rice on the side for some reason? Other than that, I highly recommend this place.”
“Literally the best ice cream I've ever had. The first waffle cone I got was chocolate moose tracks and bourbon brown butter. It was so good I had to go back the next day and get another cone. This time it was key lime pie and mint moose tracks. Key lime pie was probably my favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!”
“The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, all were beyond expectations. The service we received, from talking with one of the owners - who was behind the bar making the hand-crafted cocktails- to the food, were absolutely wonderful. You walk in to a welcoming and friendly setting with a personal feel, that leaves you with the desire to come back every weekend. These guys not only put an immense amount of thought into their menu, but also their delivery of service. P”
“The staff are the kindest people ever! When you join the rewards program, you're given enough points to redeem a free drink. Tons of different drink options to pick from ranging from smoothies, energy drinks, iced teas, juices, shakes and coffee. I recommend the iced caramel macchiato if you like sweeter coffee. Shop local! It's worth it!”
“The service is superfast. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was excellent. Ambience was nice but noisy. They should probably invest in some noise suppression audio equipment.Had the calamari as an appetizer, it was OK, my Mrs. had the tenderloin cooked Medium, was very good. I had the grouper which was really good however, for the price I think the fish portion should’ve been a little bigger. Will be back again.”
“This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!”
“Friendly atmosphere and employees. They were very helpful in explaining to me the differences in a few of the coffees and the blueberry bread was delicious! Highly recommend!”
“So it was our first time at the market and we were welcomed and given samples, they made us feel as if we had been friends for A long time and everything we tasted was excellent! Thanks to all that I listed above we left with $100 worth of incredible dishes to try for dinner! Keep up the great customer service and food and we will For sure be back! Thank You!”
“Chef Chip does an excellent job, every thing we tried was absolutely amazing. Fried chicken was perfect, truffle fries, flatbread, pasta, and smash burger was incredible. Great food, great atmosphere, and a must try if you are in the area.”
“Our all favorite! Been coming for years and years and this place never disappoints! I've had pretty much everything but they are always rotating in new things and changing stuff up every season coming out with a new version of the menu so there is always something new and different. I recommend this to everyone”
“I have a confession, despite the wide love for this restaurant, my visit last week is the first time I have ever gone. But not my first time at Jerusalem Market! I live very close to their original location out toward Sedgefield, and it's always a tasty place to stop in for fresh food. I also have no shortage of great middle eastern and Mediterranean type foods near me, so going all the way to downtown to eat just isn't something I need to do. That said, I was meeting my pop for lunch in downtown, and we both decided to give this place a shot. It's a great cafe downtown with an excellent location, situated on Elm street with several other choices. The food is made fresh to order, so unless you order something served cold, just keep in mind there's a 15-20 minute cook. This is not something I mind of course. I ordered the Armenian wrap, which is beef tenderloin with provolone, baba ghanouj, yogurt sauce and spices in one of their flatbreads. Comes with Z'atar chips, and I added a small cup of hummus for an upcharge. Personally. I'd like to see hummus come with those chips as part of the price, but it wasn't too bad. For a downtown cafe serving high quality food, prices here are reasonable. The flavor was definitely on point! Texture was excellent too, from the doughy pull of the flatbread, to the creamy sauce and baba. It was great. The Za'tar chips were crispy and spiced nicely. Dipping in the hummus, great combo. I had water to drink, but keep in mind all other beverages are bottled or canned. Dad got a nice fresh salad, chunks of feta and a chicken kabob and also enjoyed it. Overall, excellent healthy option downtown, a very nice cafe run by friendly people.”
“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!”
“I love VT and order often. The quesadilla was great! I ordered this new appetizer, onion dip and fresh baked potato chips. Good, but for chips and dip.....WAY, way overpriced!!”
“Very solid burgers, absolutely delicious, and a good beer list. The fries were sorta average but the meat is high quality, which is really what matters, and the burger options are incentive. Or you can build your own for a very reasonable price. Great spot, great people, great burgers. Will return if we're in the area!”
“I've never had Boba before the staff was helpfull but kinda reserved like they were really inconvenienced by having to explain how it worked. I gave them a 10% tip for explaining the place was clean and the tea was excellent but it's not for everyone Boba tea has chewy bits some people don't like. I had the mang pineapple milk with leechieDietary restrictions: Many options to choose from and you can also have them modify your orderWheelchair accessibility: Was a ramp to the sidewalk, the walkways were clear enough for a wheelchair but I didn't check the bathrooms.”
“I've now had some really good experiences with authentic Peruvian food in the past few months. The cuisine at Inka checked the boxes and was delicious! The deserts deserve a mention of their own. Nice variety and as strong as you will find in a Peruvian restaurant. The service was strong up front, then absent after the meals were dropped with no check in. This is the reason a one star was dropped and I hate that. The table shared a fried seafood appetizer which was marvelous! I had the Tauco Tauco seafood which was tasty. Portion size adequate, but a few more shrimp would have been perfect. The Pico Sour was totally yum! I was at a table of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts however were the hero with most offering authentic and made in-house. Especially enjoyed was the Chocolucama served in a jar with an impressive amount of Lucama. The house coffee was super! The bill was processed with no issue. The value was outstanding! There are a few Inka Grill's in Virginia with the original in Roanoke. A 4 star with deduction for no follow up after entrees were dropped. I would 100% return.”
“The atmosphere, drinks and staff were all wonderful. My friends ordered the flights and I had the peach wine and we were so satisfied. 10 out 10 Marjae’s for the win!!”
“Kendra was knowledgeable and eager to assist me with a drink selection (the honey vanilla cinnamon latte with oat milk was so flavorful)!!. She gave a great nod to the blueberry bread, which was fresh and made with love! The entire atmosphere was a vibe and will definitely be a go to; as it should be for you as well!”
“Best restaurant in Greensboro. Pricey to be sure, but it's all small plates, so you have more say in how much you spend vs. other nice restaurants. The food is art.”
“My friend and I had brunch at Borough Coffee and we LOVED IT!! The service was superb, the surroundings and outdoor area was fantastic. Also the coffee and food was very good as well. 10/10 recommended!”
“Dorothy is the most helpful customer service rep I have ever dealt with. I wanted to place a same day catering order for my job and she dealt with me blowing up their phones at 8:30 am with all the questions in the world and helped me find the best price. Dorothy, if you're seeing this, thank you so much for all of your help!!”
“My friend and I heard about this place from a Facebook group and knew we had to drive from Ramsuer and Asheboro to try it. We went for the buffet and we tried and loved everything on the buffet. Neither of us had tried Indian cuisine so it was really nice to be able to try a variety of items. We were very impressed and will certainly return. The restaurant is beautiful inside and very clean and the server was kind and attentive. I'm definitely adding this to my favorites list.”
“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!”
