During the Summer get there in the morning and enjoy the quiet that comes when students aren't in classes.“
“I’ve been living in the area since July 2022, and working for Elon University since August 2022. I have ordered the Chai Tea Latte from here, a few times, and they never disappoint. Today was my first time ordering a sandwich. I asked for egg, cheddar cheese, provolone cheese, and mayonnaise on sour dough, but the sandwich came back with pesto added to it, as well. I have to admit, this sandwich was, BY FAR, the BEST SANDWICH I’ve tasted since being in this entire Alamance County area. Thank you, Acorn Coffee, for making my day!!!“

“I like to come here for the pop machiatto, its the best coffee I've ever had! Its the perfect mix between a buttery popcorn and salty caramel flavor. I came in today for a birthday drink and decided to order my usual drink. When it came out it was hot which is different than what I usually get but I let the lady know at the counter and she and the gentleman who made my drink were so kind and gracious to remake my drink (over ice) for no charge. They were so kind and even let me keep the hot drink which my spouse was happy to drink for me. “I enjoy the finer things of life, one of those things particularly being coffee and this place makes some GOOD coffee. I tried the seasonal salted pistachio mocha....oh my GOODNESS. So so so good. The espresso was strong but smooth and the flavoring was delicious and didn't over power the espresso, which is marks of a good latte in my book. I only wish it was a year round flavor! Will keep coming back!“

“Things Above has provided me with a way to restore my mother’s 40 year old Bible! The owner told me about Erin (Chelsea’s sister) who re-covers bibles! She did an absolutely amazing job on a very used and worn out Bible! She was so incredibly kind to work with, and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests! She was able to re-bind my Bible in a beautiful brown leather, while preserving and un-creasing the pages!! I have have a bookmark made from the original cover! When she sent me a picture of the finished Bible, tears of joy began to flow! She has given me back not only my mother’s Bible but a truly cherished family heirloom!! Thank you so very much Erin! I highly recommend her to any one, you will be amazed at the quality of her work!!“

“Nice coffee shop with great pastries and unique latte flavors! The service was friendly and very quick with our order. I got a pumpkin whoopie pie and my wife got the pumpkin spice latte. Both were good and satisfying.We loved the cool hand painted murals on the walls and the cozy decor. They did a good job making the interior inviting. This is a great option to get your coffee and pastry fix!“
“This was our first time here and it was great! We went through the drive through. They have like a million and 1 drinks from lattes, to drip coffee, to all sorts of drinks. They also have food which is great because not a lot of coffee shops so have food! 10/10 recommend!Dietary restrictions: Soy milk, almond milk, oat milk“
“The atmosphere of the coffee shop is very nice. I ordered two large drinks and one bagel and the total was $26. The speciality lattes are truly delicious. I am a little apprehensive to order the bagel again though. It was burnt on one side, so I only was able to eat half. I wish I had opened the to-go box before I left the shop because I would have brought it to the attention of the staff. I was surprised they would be okay with packing burnt food.“

“My husband and I had a devastating house fire a week ago. We are staying in a motel suite. The people at Dotties made us feel like family. Breakfast there is delicious and fast. They make their on strawberry jam. Lunch is diner comfort food like country style steak, BBQ chicken and more meats. And they serve every Southern favorite vegetable. Food is very good but the staff is excellent! See you there soon I hope.“

“They farted in my mocha and it gave a little bit of spice. It was probably the best mocha I've ever tried. Period. Service was 5 stars. Ambiance was great. There was coffee beans on the wall and people could pick them off and grind their own coffee with it. I love the kung fun gym as well. Kids were sliding on a slide to the dishwasher section and doing dishes for them. The kids were tickling the prep workers feet and brought the mood and ambiance up. Upstairs was the hot pot section and there was a delicious coffee broth with nutritious proteins, vegetables and more! Definitely coming back. They didn't have a DJ booth which was disappointing and a bit weir as I usually see them at Starbucks.“

“I loved the place it was really nice and clean. We even had games to play while waiting. Their was only one person working cash register and making drinks both times I came. I had trouble with my card the staff member was really nice and patient with me. My only convenience was that my tapioca perals were not fresh and were a little hard.. Other than that it was really great and convenient!!“
“I went in for a meeting and purchased an iced Americano. As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I’ll say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had! I tried my friend’s latte as well and it was top notch, too.I’ll be having more meetings at this location and bringing friends for coffee dates as well. If only every coffee shop could brew so well.“
