“My wife’s food tasted bland like hospital food. No seasoning at all. Her hardshell taco was basic ground beef cooked with cheese on it on a hard shell and then her beans were bland. Tasted like hospital food although Hospital food has more seasoning than this did. I got ACP Texano and it was good but the steak was tough and chewy. Not worth $42“

“Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and craft beer on tap! My family and I love this place. My only complaint would be that last time we were here, someone at the table next to us had a dog in a tote bag that was most definitely NOT a service animal. Not one staff member said anything to her. This is a problem for me as I suffer from severe animal allergies. In addition, I don’t feel it is sanitary to bring animals in an establishment where food is being sold/served. Like I said, we love this place, but if this becomes a habit we will have to find another place to go. ☹️“

I went to an expensive Teppanyaki restaurant in Winston this weekend and I was surprised when I realized that the food at Carolina Sakura was better. Everything is good but I would get the Teriyaki chicken hibachi meal. Also, there’s something about the rice. It’s so good I think about it all the time.“

“Have been a few times over the years with really mixed reviews, a lot of what I've had has been hit or miss, this last trip however however has changed my view and hopefully will show some promise for future brews! I've on average rated what I've tried 2-3 range at most except for a rare 3.5/4 for a sour, but their gose was not bad at all and the dually loaded DIPA (and I am NOT an IPA person) is DELICIOUS, by far the best beer I've had from them! I hope to see this level of quality in future beers!“

“Came here on a weekday evening and it turned out better than I expected. The sushi tasted fresh and the rolls were put together nicely, not falling apart like some places. I tried a couple specialty rolls and they had a good balance of flavors, nothing too overpowering. Service was a bit slow at first but once we got going it was fine. The place itself has a chill vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Prices felt reasonable for what you get. Not the absolute best sushi I’ve had, but still pretty solid and I’d probly come back again.“

It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. “TERRIBLE. Went there for birthday celebration. Took 45 minutes for waitress to take our order. Husband got skunky beer. Food came out a couple at a time with about 5 minutes in between (there were 12 of us but there were only about 8 other people in the restaurant). My 4 year old granddaughter ordered pasta and marinara. After everyone else finally got their food I asked the waitress where her food was. Her reply: we don’t have any marinara, here’s some macaroni and cheese. She never said they didn’t have what she ordered and never asked what else she wanted. I never received a refill of my soda in the 2 hours we were there. And finally, it took the waitress another 30 minutes to take care of the tab. To top it off the food was mediocre at best“
