“This was our second visit to Magnolia 23. Both experiences have been excellent. First time we ordered chicken and dumplings they are best I’ve ever had! Today I tried country style steak wife ordered fried chicken both very good but I prefer the dumplings better then my grandma’s. Sides are always delicious collards and best potato salad in NC Desserts blackberry cobbler and persimmon pudding Excellent. Don the owner takes time to visit with his guests and treats everyone like family We travel from Hickory to Chapel Hill frequently In the future we will stop here for our lunch.“

“THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD IN ASHEBORO! I have been going to this restaurant for over 2 years and it is consistently wonderful in quality and freshness, excellent service, and the family-owned & operated business treats you like family. I love the spicy beef noodle soup, fresh spring rolls w/house-made peanut sauce, and they make the BEST Thai Tea I have ever had.“

“Ordered 2 sirloins, one well and one med well. Both came out bleeding. Waitress offered to send back to recook. Both came back so tough we could not eat either one. Manager told us they reached proper temperature first time so it was our fault for wanting them cooked more. $60.00 WASTED. 2nd round of cooking picture“

“I'm 50 years old, been to high end Asian restaurants and THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE I'VE EVER HAD. I got mai fun and I've never seen it come with fresh broccoli fresh mushrooms fresh carrots egg and the most wonderful pork that's a good size and it tastes barbecued almost and the portion I got is huge I can eat off this for 3 days this place is where to go“
