Alex’s House is a staple in High Point, the BEST place for a tasty breakfast. Even under new ownership, and Thanks to the retention of the experienced staff, Alex’s House is STILL the same cool place to go to for a hearty meal.
Let me preface this review by advising this is a CASH ONLY business. If parking is full in front, there's additional (but limited) parking in back. We came for breakfast. Husband ordered Western omelet w/hash browns and toast. I ordered sides of hash browns, sausage (only offer patties) and small grits. Be forewarned--hash browns are cubed and has some sort of seasoning (oregano?) sprinkled on them. Specials on board advertised over grill came w/hot coffee or tea. Food came out...read full review
