Bobby Boy Bakeshop Reviews
Everything I’ve ever had at either location has been fantastic!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We also loved the macaron class.
My son and I work at The Enrichment Center and walked over and bought all of us a dessert for dinner tonight it was wonderful!
Although I'd heard great things about the place, and always received good recommendations, today, after so long, I decided to go. The line was long, the entrance door was blocked, and there wasn't much space to wait in line. I decided to step out of line a bit so as not to block the entrance. But apparently, a staff member didn't like that and came to tell me, in a very rude way, that wasn't the place to be in line. **Bobby Boy Bakeshop** at 845 S. Poplar Street is a hidden treasure in Winston-Salem and Old Salem. This bakeshop features visible production areas and an open courtyard perfect for small gatherings. The menu changes frequently, with everything made in-house. There is Ramen (Noodle Ju'B) with noodles made fresh by Chef John Bobby, and Focaccia bread pizzas (Grandpa Joe's Slaberia) made fresh daily. The pastries are excellent and beautiful, including the eclair, lemon tart, everything Danish, pineapple Danish, almond croissant, ham and cheese, Vanilla Croissant, Morning Bun, and Ginger Molasses cookie. The croissants are the prettiest and tastiest in town. The chai latte with espresso is delightful. Service is always quick, competent, friendly, and relaxed. Staff are happy to explain treats kindly. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Prices are pricey but 100% worth it. This is a brilliant foodie experience and a favorite in the Triad.
