The best bakery in Charlotte. The savory shortbread is amazing.
Lissen...that coconut pineapple cake reminded me of the coconut cake my grandma used to make me growing up. it was love at first bite!! The delivery person was the sweetest.
This IS the reason I come over to the farmers market from Gastonia almost every week! I love her desserts in general, but she has this turtle-like cheese cake that is so fluffy and decadent. The caramel is perfection and the pecans are to die for! Simply perfection!

Based on the reviews, Alexandra's Bakery & Gourmet Specialties is an artisanal bake shop offering many different varieties of sweets. The bakery has a great atmosphere, an open space, friendly service, and plenty of parking. The lady who works there is very nice and hospitable, providing excellent customer service. Items include Lemon Pound cake, Cranberry Lime cake, Red Velvet layer cake with lemon icing, walnut brownie bites, a Lavender Berry Kiss, gourmet popcorn, pumpkin cheesecake, and caramel cake. The Lemon Pound cake is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Red Velvet layer cake was a crowd pleaser. The walnut brownie bites were incredibly delicious. The gourmet popcorn was really good. The caramel cake was so good and moist. The chocolate caramel cake and chocolate cake did not disappoint. The prices are affordable for the quality.
