“I can’t express how happy I am with Mac Tabby Cat Cafe. I went a few days before Christmas to possibly adopt a new cat. The staff here is amazing, the cats are all adorable and it was overall a great experience. I adopted a beautiful white cat and I love her to pieces. I would not hesitate in the future to adopt from Mac Tabby again. Alternately if you just love cats and want to go hang out for an hour with the kitties, it’s a blast. The cats are very interactive. Thanks again.“

“I tried the smoked salmon croissant, and it was wonderful. The venue itself was nice; however—since it is a bit small—there was a sign asking customers not to occupy the tables for longer than an hour, which I found a bit off-putting. Aside from that, everyone was friendly, and ordering was easy.“

“Hidden gem that I selfishly hope doesn’t get too popular. They have an extensive menu and you can buy desserts, bottles of wine and other beverages. The spicy turkey sandwich is amazing so is the caprese and tomatoes soup. Coffee is good and it’s a decent amount of seating. Parking is as terrible as you might expect for Southend. I visit at least once -love it here.“

“Honeysuckle Gelato is a must-try at Optimist Hall. The gelato is super creamy, rich in flavor, and not overly sweet. They have a great variety of flavors and the portions are generous. Perfect spot to grab a treat after trying out the other food stalls. Highly recommend.“

“If you haven’t been to this tucked away gem, you are missing out! My Garlic Bulgogi Bánh Mi and Passionfruit Pleasure drink were the best I’ve had and I’m picky when it comes to my food. I’m so glad I found this family owned restaurant to try today while I was out and about. 1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is a must try, the variety of food choices is unmatched compared to other similar restaurants in Charlotte so put this one on the list as a must try, especially if you are a Bánh Mi fan like I am!“

“I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t speak on how good theirs is, however I did have their teas and was very pleased. This location is very serene. I enjoyed looking at their collections of books while my tea was brewing. My interaction with the lady at the register was also pleasant. Will return.“

“This place is fantastic! Went there last night for a networking meeting and was thoroughly impressed. The food, decor, and the live band were so great! “Me and my wife were on a business trip and couldn’t help but stop by — and honestly, we’re so glad we did. The Philly cheesesteak was one of the best we’ve ever had, soft bun, packed with flavor, and a huge portion of meat. We also tried the nacho salad and it was amazing, super tasty and fresh. The famous pink lemonade was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the Oreo shake just topped it all off. Customer service was a solid 11/10 — they checked on us more than once to make sure everything was good, and we really felt taken care of. Definitely coming back again!“

“We discovered Amelie's while walking back to our hotel from the St. Patrick's Day street fair in Uptown, and the moment we walked in the door we knew we'd hit the jackpot. It wasn't just the pleasant smell of coffee that pleased the senses, it was also the funky design of the cafe itself and of course, the amazing selection of goodies that greeted us in case.
Everything looked so good, we'd love to have sampled one of each. Since that wouldn't have been a good idea, I decided on the Key Lime tart while my wife opted for a slice of chocolate butter cheesecake. But since one just wasn't enough, we also got a brownie cheesecake brownie to split! All were amazing, especially the brownie cheesecake! We can't wait for our next trip to Charlotte so we can sample some of the other offerings.
My wife and I were recently in Paris and (this is no exaggeration), Amelie's was as good as any patisserie we visited there!“
