“Absolutely love this place! Doesn't matter the time of day, it's the perfect spot. I've been there for coffee, the empanadas, drinks upstairs, they have it all. It's a great spot to bring some work or to just socialize and they are nestled right in the heart of Plaza Midwood. They also have great outdoor patio spaces!“
“This is a really cool coffee stop, in an area that historically has been an off-limits neighborhood to most. This business is helping to lift up the city, their neighborhood and their community. They are investing in the good people of Charlotte and doing it well. Check it out! They have a small and convenient parking lot in the back“
“This is the absolute best coffee I’ve ever tasted!! It’s smooth and rich with great flavors. Even the Decaf is wonderful. I tend to crave coffee at night but have never found a decaf coffee that isn’t bitter and nasty. This decaf has all the flavor and richness of regular coffee. I cannot express how great tasting this coffee is. I don’t drink alcohol so coffee is my comfort and this is the best I’ve ever had!!!“
“Neighborhood coffee is my favorite spot in Charlotte. The coffee is quality and the people are friendly and accommodating. There's a lot of space for hanging out or getting some work done. They serve a great purpose in the middle of east Charlotte which aims in helping refugees from around the world to be successful in everyday life. The merch is fire too! Come check it out.“
“I stopped in here after traveling by many times and never stopping. One day, I was running too late to go to another coffee shop, so I decided to stop by, and now this is my favorite coffee shop. The ambiance is minimalist and modern with a Nordic aesthetic. The staff is super sweet and hip, which adds to the overall vibe. Every time I get a hot, oat milk matcha latte with maple cardamom syrup. It is the perfect ease into your morning and tastes like a warm hug. I also LOVE their food. The tomato feta quiche is out of this world, as is the bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel. Both were suggested to me by the barista and were spot-on. The flavors are divine. The other thing that the baristas introduced me to was the Odeko app, which is the order-ahead platform they use that caters to increasing patronage at local coffee shops. Brilliant! Great spot tucked near Optimist Park and easily accessible at the 25th Street Light Rail stop.“
“Ayyyeee!!! This place made my day!!! When you walk in you are greeted by the scents of Heaven!! It’s amazing. Next the barista, not sure of her name was she was super sweet and gave me patience and explanation when ordering. The restrooms are gender neutral, safe, fully stocked and clean. Then the roaster/machines on the side I found super intriguing and Rory- thank you so much, what an awesome human! Explained coffee and the process in detail that I could understand- it was definitely an intro, but extremely interesting nevertheless and allowed me to take some photos and video. The food and drinks were delicious. My partner had a blueberry muffin and I had the cereal milk matcha latte- so so sooo good. I asked for whipped cream as I was comparing to Starbucks- silly old me- Night Swim puts Starbucks to shame!!! One sip and no whipped cream necessary like literally so good!! The blue berry muffin is vegan- matter of fact I think everything is vegan there and my friend didn’t save me any- it was that good! lol.. i also had the everything bagel and seasonal chive cream cream. The bagel was a bit salty, but i like salt so that works for me. Someone else may say otherwise so heads up for that. The cream cheese was very fresh and spot on- rivals New York Bagel Shop cream cheese!! Kudos!! Thank you for making my day! So glad we decided to take the detour on the way to work!! Atmosphere is super chill. Will definitely be back!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and stair options“
“A++ easily - I've been twice and each time the coffee was fantastic; need to go back real soon. Definitely takes a little while to make but you know they care about quality; especially with the thorough information given by the kind baristas“
“This place is a vibe and a half, and I'm so happy it exists in CLT! We learned about Archive when taking a tour of "The Vault" Black art collectors special exhibition at the Mint Museum. Our tour guide mentioned that one of the collectors in the show owns this coffee shop, and that the bathroom is covered in vintage magazines, just like one of the walls of the exhibition! The very next morning, we came by to check it out. From the music playing to the books, records, art, and memorabilia in the space, Archive is so comfortable, welcoming, and interesting. It's the type of place where you want to enjoy a nice beverage and have deep conversations. To drink, we tried an iced dirty chai and an iced foxy brown (both with oat milk). The foxy brown was unique and delightful, with notes of caramel and brown butter. We nibbled on a cinnamon crumb muffin, which they offered to warm for us. Delish and paired perfectly with our bevvies. Archive is amazing!!“
