I’ve had them all! – Believe me when I tell you I’ve had them all. My Barber @ Caliber Men’s Grooming in Charlotte (Brian L.)– had to tell me about this place. I will not forgive him! Pizza Baby – might quite possible be one of the best Pizza’s I have had in my entire life. Hands down – This may be the best Pizza in the Carolinas. My Wife only allows me to have the Margherita; - “Most Days” – we order an 18” Margherita with Fresh Garlic / Well Done. No Flop! – Crispy – Absolutely unbelievable. Confession – We are guilty of not leaving the house and have never actually visited any of the Pizza Baby Locations – Out “Knowledge” is through the Daily/Countless Door Dash orders that we place. The Menu is simple; the Pizza design is simple. Don’t be a schmuck and make it complicated. Kudos! – You must try! Pizza Baby – Charlotte, NC is truly out of this world! L’Chayim!

“I had dinner September 6th. We started with truffle fries and Gourdgeous, a bruschetta. They were both very flavorful. I followed up with Cahones, the cola barbecue sauce complemented the ground brisket meatballs. I also had the Juniper steak with grilled broccoli and parsnips with a garlic mist. Dessert was great. I tried butterscotch pound cake and red velvet brownie. My only regret was I didn't have a second stomach. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to try the Smokey old-fashioned. I choose Makers Mark for my Bourbon.“

I had the big decker club sandwich and it came with a side. I also ordered a drink AND the butter cake (highly recommend)for $20. Don’t sleep on this place!“

“Emma (manager) and staff are super sweet and accommodating. First time I went in as a patron and not a content creator, they showed the same level of excellent customer service!

My favs frosés are the blackberry lavender, strawberry OG and dragonberry. The three sammies I’ve had this far are the California Turkey, Avocado Toast and The Classic Egg. I honestly love em all. They were seasoned, flavorful and filling. My top choice would be that durn Classic Egg sammich Emma whipped up! ?“

“It's a breath of fresh air to see a small business that does things right. Everything from the functionality to the food is great. I'm not from the area but I have to come through often for doctors appointments and this is now one of my go-to stops for food. The food is great. The only thing I've not enjoyed was the loaded fries. I think they use queso sauce and I'd much order no cheese sauce whatsoever and instead shredded cheese that's melted on there. The plain fries are amazing though! And so is the chicken and the signature sauce.“

“Upon entering this pub, one cannot help but feel at ease with the casual and eclectic environment. The decor and history of the location is immediately evident, with plenty of character.

If this one location were used to summarize the entirety of Charlotte I would say they did their City proud. The neighborhood and the building as well as the interior are all welcoming.

Our stop at Alexander Michaels was a simple break from a long drive, desiring some comforting and delicious food. The waitress was quick to have us seated and we were truly thankful for how attentive she was! No issues at all!

For our order, we had the half pound burger medium well with cheddar, mayonnaise, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Accompanied with a side of onion rings.

For myself I looked forward to the Reuben with extra crispy french fries.

I was delighted to hear that for desserts they had locally made sweets. We opted for Carrot Cake.

The burger was delivered perfectly cooked with a side of crispy and piping. Hot onion rings. Absolutely delicious and without fault !

The Reuben with their Swiss sauerkraut, thousand island and corned beef was extremely delicious.

Lastly, the carrot cake which we saved for later was delicious and worth every calorie, it could have used one more layer in my opinion, decadence being the heart of any good dessert!

Now for what I like to call positive critique, I would love to see the menu up front say how much meat is on the Reuben and offer extra meat for an upfront declared price. For my Reuben I was admittedly disappointed with the amount of meat, however the waitress was quick to get more brought out for the extra coin. I believe this was worth every penny!

If I ever find myself in Charlotte will I go again?!
That'd be two thumbs up and a satisfied "Hell Yeah!"

“Great place to go for the best chopped salad. All ingredients are fresh. Wide selection of salads and ability to add additional items if wanted. Very clean. Pleasant staff. A must go place for salads. User friendly app to order and pay ahead. Great location in Blakeney Shopping Center. Definitely a place to return again and again as I do. My favorite is the California Steakhouse salad and I do the add ins for a Southwest twist.“

“I visited this location on Saturday evening and hunny I was so pleased!!! I got the lemon kale caesar salad w/chicken and it was absolutely delicious (go now, I mean right neeeooowwww)!!! Chef Alex, Aviana, and Emilie were so kind, patient and prepared my food EXACTLY how I asked! The environment from the time I entered, the customer service, friendliness, and cleanliness of the establishment were all top tier!!! I'd go here again, again, and again, for their food!!!! “When I came in here the first time with my friend, I thought this was chipotle lol because my friend wants to eat chipotle. But when we came in here, it looks really nice to be chipotle. So I guess you could say this is the opposite of chipotle. The food is really great if you want to eat healthier. It’s a little pricey, but the food is great and their salads. what I got is one of their fall menu the Ultimate Hummus Harissa Bowl. You can choose cauliflower rice or what rice they normally put in it. they also have wraps and salads if you want that besides a bowl.

Also, the staffs are very friendly if you want something just politely ask them and they will definitely put whatever you want on your order.

Overall, it’s really good. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to eat healthier, a vegan, on a diet, or want to eat something new.

Vegetarian options: if you’re vegetarian on a diet, or want to eat healthier in your lifestyle I would definitely recommend this place. Of course, if you don’t want chicken or any meat then you can let them know that you don’t want this certain meat on it. But they mostly have a lot of vegetables to try out to eat.

Parking: Parking is fine if you come at night before they close to die in or take out. They do have some handicap parking if you’re handicap. But I’m guessing at the daytime working can’t be a little fool because you also have other shopping district in this area. But you could pretty much park anywhere and easily walk across the street.“

“I didn’t want to say I don’t recommend… however I don’t think I will be going back. Very nice vibe, the stuff was accommodating. My problem comes in about my order. They had to remake it and it still wasn’t correct. I cannot understand how you mess up twice on a salad. I felt the energy change the second time around. Even though they were polite it felt forced. They read it back both times and failed both times. For 65 dollars for 3 salads it should’ve been done correctly. I’ve had better experiences for cheaper and I’m a foodie!“

“I went to Cava for the first time today. The gal helping me was PHENOMENAL at walking me through each step of the process and explaining what everything was, each cost, etc. Customer service was unmatched and the food was top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.“

“This is my favorite poke spot! I have been to many others, but this one always provides the best portions and most fresh ingredients. Everything is so flavorful, colorful, filling, and I feel satiated and energized after eating their bowls! My favorite bowl is the Volcano Mix, where I can choose three proteins. The tuna is so delicious and comes in a regular, spicy, and marinated option. The salmon is so fresh and comes in regular and spicy as well. There are also so many fresh toppings to choose from, many sauces and crunchies to add to the top. The restaurant owners are two very sweet people who are so kind. If I had the option, I would choose to eat here everyday :) This is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner and I recommend this poke spot to everyone I know.“

“Mano Bello in SouthPark, is the real deal for authentic Italian cuisine. Owned by Rafaele Patrizi, a native of Italy, every dish has that fatto a mano (handmade) touch. You can even watch the magic happen at their pasta-making station—there’s something mesmerizing about seeing fresh tortellini come to life right before your eyes.

The restaurant has a cozy, caffè-style atmosphere with some charming outdoor seating, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff, including Thien, Daniel, and Paula, were not only friendly but also super knowledgeable—pronouncing the names of pasta dishes with that perfect Italian accent. Grazie mille to them for making the experience special.

One thing I was particularly excited about was their lasagna, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This lasagna is layered with thick, fresh pasta sheets, a rich blend of beef and pork sausage, gooey mozzarella, and a tomato sauce that was so fresh and flavorful. You can absolutely tell the pasta is handmade—it had that perfect rustic texture, almost like Nonna made it right in her kitchen. The portion is generous too, enough to share between two for a hearty lunch. If you’re in SouthPark and in the mood for lasagna, this is where I’d go.

While they offer great 2-for-1 lunch salad and sandwich specials (pasta isn’t included, though), they have some fantastic seasonal pasta dishes that are worth trying. And if you’re dining with a group, I highly suggest ordering a variety of entrees and sharing them family style—you’ll get a true taste of Italy this way.

Just a heads up—the cell service isn’t great, and the WiFi is hit or miss, so it’s best to skip the QR code menu and just order at the counter. The staff will bring your meal right to you.

They also have a small Italian market inside, perfect for grabbing top-quality ingredients or take-and-bake entrees for when you want to recreate that Italian feast at home. While this location doesn’t have the famous ruota di pasta (pasta wheel), you can check that out at their 7th Street Market spot.

“This review is for the University City location only. Went here and felt rushed and dismissed. My Wife asked for all the topping except two, which she received but they didn't give her very much of the toppings. That left a bad taste in her mouth as she felt like they rushed her threw the line and didn't give her an opportunity to say that she wanted more. Pita Chips are our Go-to and I will have to say they appeared to be cold upon receiving them or not freshly cooked as they were barely warm. Probably won't be coming back to this location but I will also take into consideration that they probably deal with a lot of younger people as the college is across the street. Cava in Concord will now be my Go-To!
