They checked on us after we sat down to make sure we had everything we needed. They checked back with us offering for us to try their deserts (just a taste). A must go place for salads. User friendly app to order and pay ahead. Great location in Blakeney Shopping Center. Definitely a place to return again and again as I do. I stopped in for the first time between errands and really liked the diner’s unique style—it stands out from other places around Matthews, Indian Trail, and Monroe. “Celiac? Gluten sensitivity? This is your place. Living with Celiac or having a gluten intolerance is frustrating by itself. It becomes much more frustrating when you go to a restaurant and you tell the server your issue, and they look at you like you're an alien from another planet… or worse… get frustrated with you. I've lost count of how many places I've had to walk out of because I knew just from speaking to them that it wasn't safe for me to eat there. That doesn't happen here. Not only do they have plenty of gluten-free options (which are well labeled on the menu)... But the staff also seem to be well trained on how to handle the questions that we may have. I had a server specifically ask me one time after I ordered a gluten-free bun if I was Celiac…that has never happened before…anywhere. (I've been here enough now that they pretty much all know without me having to even say it anymore, but that's beside the point.) The staff and owners have always been extremely friendly whenever we are there. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and it's just an overall great experience for us every time we go. It means a tremendous amount to be able to sit down at a table and not really worry about how I'm going to feel 30 minutes after I leave because someone in the kitchen or the server themselves doesn't understand how to handle my food after I tell them my issue. It SHOULD be this easy everywhere, but those of us that deal with it everyday know that it's not. If you're looking for a place that serves great food, with staff that understands what it means to be careful with cross-contamination and what you're served, this is your place. “One of my favorite fast casual spots, and the ingredients at Piada seem fresher and better quality! I always get the power bowl with some piada on the side. We make it a ritual to visit every time my sons get their haircut in the same shopping center. They love the piada pockets! Also very friendly staff that goes above & beyond!“

I’m a creature of habit so I always order the chicken filet sandwich fried with french fries and of course a separate order of the famous onion rings! These o-rings are the ONLY ones I eat!! “I’ve been a longtime vendor for Brixx, but since I’m usually here early in the mornings, I don’t often get the chance to actually sit down and enjoy a meal. Today, though, I had the pleasure of being here around lunchtime and finally got to grab a small pizza for myself!

Jason runs an excellent location here in Blakeney. The restaurant is always clean, open, and running smoothly, and the location itself is fantastic. I always enjoy being here, especially when I get the chance to stop in during a lunch break.

And, of course, it goes without saying that you can’t beat that classic Brixx wood-fired taste.

“As someone from New York City, I had high expectations for pizza, and this was my first time trying Toppers Pizza. I have to say, it's by far one of the best pizzas I've had! The pizza was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were generous and delicious.

The Sweet Hot Honey Wings were absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They were definitely a highlight of the meal!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was clean, and the service was quick. If Toppers keeps making pizza and wings like this, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend! 🍕🔥“

I used to never have to check my order before pulling off. It was on the money every time. Now its barely correct, ever. They’re so busy that the staff doesnt have time to tell them that something is wrong with the order. Its also passed time to take responsibility for your drive through lines pouring out into the streets on Randolph and obstructing traffic. That shouldn’t be everyone else’s problem. We accepted it until your quality and standards declined. Please take responsibility and fix this issue or we will have to get the city involved.“

“I go to this restaurant because it reminds me of when I was at the Harrisburg restaurant in North Carolina. It is quite quiet and very quick for that service. I have four restaurants around me, three grocery stores and three different buses to help me get around as a disabled person. I love this area of town“
