“On Saturday my sister and I stopped here for lunch before heading home after a morning of shopping. The restaurant appeared clean and there were these beautiful Easter wreaths hung on the wall to the left of the entrance that were for sale they were very reasonably priced.The cheerful young lady who greeted me upon entering the restaurant also took my order. I ended up getting the 12” Supreme when my order was ready the young lady brung it to the table where I was sitting after I gathered myself and pizza I headed to the car when we got to my sister’s we ended up putting the pizza in the oven for just a few minutes to crisp the crust as it was a bit doughy for us. The pizza ? had a fairly good taste and we each enjoyed 3 slices a piece with 2 leftover slices which my sister had for lunch on Monday. I hate I didn’t get any photos for this review.Parking: Plenty of parking as this restaurant is located in an area with other restaurants and businesses.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome as there’s a familiar family atmosphere about the restaurant.“
“We recently had our son's rehearsal dinner utilizing the upstairs at Drift. It was an overall wonderful experience! Sydney, the event coordinator, was responsive, helpful, accommodating and just great to work with. We had over 50 people in attendance and the serving staff was attentive, efficient, and very pleasant the whole evening. We have some gluten sensitive family and Sydney and the staff went out of their way to be sure there was no cross contamination. From the appetizers, to the salads and main entrees, all of the food was excellent - I heard many compliments from my family. We had perfect weather which allowed us to have the windows and doors open upstairs, which was truly the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this venue for an event such as this. “Fabulous!! Atmosphere, service and food.. ah! All excellent!! Can't wait to invite guests. We got the chicken dish in pottery. It's a one-time use pottery w the meal inside! Presented w pyrotechnics, pottery top is cracked off by tapping w a knife, then food is poured onto a cute footed metal platter. Loved it so much!!“
“Very, very good NY style pizza at a great price. Pepperoni is a bit on the salty side so no need to add salt. I added salt on the first slice and it was slightly salty. The next two slices without salt were amazing. Very small, but very clean, dining area and friendly staff. We will be back!“

He went absolutely above and beyond to make sure every need was met before we could even think of it. Would 100% go back again just to sit in his section, he is truly the best. “Villa Roma is a staple for our family. I had the baked spaghetti (watch out because the melted cheese can splash sauce on your shirt) and it was yummy. We enjoy all the food and the small salad bar that has a nice variety of ingredients. The service is always good as is the food. We enjoy the Italian flavored hominess and keep coming back.“
“Edit: Third visit was very much improved. Order was brought out on time ... Changed rating.Good food, but VERY slow service. Ordered curbside takeout twice, and both times was about 45 minutes over the estimated time and the food was lukewarm which means it was sitting getting cold while I was waiting, and they weren't that busy. I hit the "I'm here" button several times while I was waiting. I like their food, but I don't know if I'll be going back.“
“My family had been looking for a good pizza place since we relocated to the area. Finally, we heard about Lake Wylie Pizza. It is the best in the area by far. Not only that but whether you dine in or take out you will be greeted by a courteous, friendly and hard working staff. They do very well with all their Italian fare as well.“

“First time there. The service was impeccable. Food was exemplary. Dessert was absolutely scrumptious. Their selections of wines were perfect with every portion of the meal. We ended the meal with a delicious espresso and sambuca. The bill was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back again. A gem in the middle of nowhere.“

I was so happy when I found the seafood pizza on the menu because it’s my fave back home! “As an employee of the restaurant, I would like to inform you that the comments made by the concerned Mrs. S..... !!We are in 2024 and it is obvious that whatever happens around us we upload it to the internet making everything tragic!! This lady came and applied as a server and hosts.. she started working as a hostess for 2 weeks until one night the manager offered her to work in another position “since her application was for waitress and hostess”she refused without even trying!the same evening the Owner spoke to her in front of the manager and another employeeHe told her:I don't want to put you to work as a waitress since you don't want to but at least do the training just in case of emergency waitress calls out to know how to serve! She categorically refused.. The owner told her that he didn’t want to pay two employees for the same job,so they can alternately work as hosts and as waiters the other girl was ok with it…obviously she refused and she said it was fine as hosts!!The owner thanked her profusely and told her he wouldn't need her anymore!She cursed as she left from the restaurantA few hours later, her mother called “to note that the lady was 35 years old”, complaining that the owner and the manager treated her daughter badlyThe next day her husband came to collect the check shouting and cursing inside the restaurant forcing the owner to call the police!!!Posted bad reviews about the restaurant actually me and the rest of the restaurant staff just laughed when we saw it because we know that our customers have known the restaurant for many years and they are very happy that our rating is 100 and 99.5 and we as employees are very proud of it!!Αnd besides if I'm not wrong ,Hostess position is at the front of the restaurant, I get impressed that she knows in detail what was going on back in the kitchen?I would also like to say that she is insulting herself by saying she used the towels we used for the floor to wipe the tables!!!we as waitresses had no way of doing that!!I wanted to place correctly and fairly as an employee of the restaurant because these comments are an insult to the restaurant!!“
“I’m from Buffalo, ny and I have been searching for a real authentic Italian restaurant for soooo long since moving south. A lot of places just don’t get it right. Portofinos does!! The decorations, atmosphere, menu, staff and even the cloth napkins and dressings and seasonings on the table. Felt like i was back in NY at one of their many excellent Italian restaurants. Cozy and comfy atmosphere with kind staff. The white pizza is PHENOMENAL. I also got a cannoli and it was so delicious my eyes rolled back into my head. This place is the real deal. After driving by to pick up my son from school for two years, I decided that today was a great day to give it a go!We got an early dinner with a small pepperoni pizza, a small supreme w/o ham or sausage (it’s a cheaper version than building your own with everything else that comes on it), a large veggie pizza, garlic knots and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls.Everything was fresh and delicious! Great char to the crust, great flavor, real bacon, spicy pepperonis, just overall great tasting food. Crust is a thinner crust that’s crunchy and chewy in all the right places. I’d only enjoy more cheese, but it’s a solid pizza.The garlic knots weren’t my fave, I like a little more yeasty doughiness, but the marinara is money!The egg rolls could use some onion and green pepper, but they were flavorful-a little over cooked, but good.I live off Union/Armstrong, and everything was still piping hot when it got home.This is our favorite pizza so far.
