“I never felt the need to post a review, this is a place that's been around a long time, in fact the day I found out I was having my 1st child 22 years ago was my 1st time here. The need for a review now cause I've been meeting friends here the past few friday nights and the service is absolutely the worst. The front of the house employees are sour and unfriendly. It gives i hate my job. The soup on Fridays if you can get any is really good, the scraped up mess served my friend could fill a tea cup, they charged for it instead of saying, hey we are out!? Tables left dirty, I feel like I'm bothering thos restaurant by asking for the bare minimum. Cmon“

“I pick up food to go here often. They give you The a time but I would add another 15 minutes to that. Typically. I used to eat in the restaurant but overall, the restaurant is not the cleanest environment. So it makes me question why I'm actually picking food up from that location.“

“We come from New York and lived in Boca Raton and have now lived in Cornelius for four years and the food here in North Carolina is horrible to say the least! Acqua Ragazza is finally a place where you can find an excellent dining experience! The only downfall is that the prices are a bit high for the area where it is located and to add insult to injury when we asked for additional bread, they charged us a whopping four dollars which after what we were charged for the meal was shocking to say the least! Aside from that unless you either live in The Point in Mooresville or The Peninsula in Cornelius, very few people in this area will be able to afford the prices! Just a Point to Ponder for Management!“

“Fantastic food and a delightful server who guided us expertly. Pricey but worth every penny. No reservations allowed so a 40 minute wait. Room is too small and too crowded and therefore too noisy. Highly popular for good reason. Great wine list but no bar.

“Wow! Delicious food and great service. We are new to the area and decided to try out Bambini late on a Sunday night. We ordered carry out with a 20 minute drive back home. Food was hot when we sat down. Salads were fresh. Salad dressings both seemed to be made in house... both very good! The bread they give you was warm and soft. Restaurant looked clean and service was excellent. Gentleman at the front made sure the order was correct before I walked out the door. Will definitely be back for both carry out and sit down.“

“Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with our friends. The restaurant is in an older antique home in Huntersville close to the highway. We were greeted at the door by the host/owners very friendly and sat with our group of seven in a small very private area ( as are most) in a series of dining rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable chairs. Our hostess immediately came over and took our drink order. There was a large selection of wines by both glass and bottle and both cocktails and regular beverages served from a large bar at the rear of the restaurant. The menu selections were wide and varied and the hostess informed us of three additional special entrees for the evening . For appetizers we ordered garlic bread with a traditional dipping oil and calamari with red sauce both were great . All the entrees were served together and were the best Italian food we have tasted outside of Italy anywhere. A lot of there sauces , desserts and breads are made on premises. There was water goblets as soon as we arrived at the table. Service was excellent, food was delicious and remarkable. Would not hesitate to go back. Prices were outstanding . “After reading most of the reviews I can personally attest that many are accurate. We have been 3x , one lunch and 2 dinners. Lunch was good, no complaints at all but will agree the $$ is a bit high but what isn’t today. Now on to the dinners , both times it was 2 couples I would rate the first visit a 1 and the second a 4.5. The first experience was not pleasant. Slow service, cold dinner the list goes on. We decided to give it a go last week and a complete 180. Very good service very good food and our guests loved it as well. Everyone has an off day so very glad we tried it again. Next time it will be another lunch visit.“

“Amazing! Picked this restaurant mainly on location and hours because we were in area. Totally exceeded expectations. Had a bottle of valpolicella based on owners recommendation. Excellent! Had the pork belly appetizer—very good! And I’m not really a pork belly person. Our main courses were the lamb and pea gnocchi (my absolute favorite!!) and hangar steak (also excellent). Had bread brought before meal (the reviewers who complained about the amount of bread — what did they want — an entire loaf of bread??!!). There was plenty, and then we were served another savory bread with the meal. For dessert we shared the very rich and delicious chocolate torte. Totally loved our experience and will definitely come back. I don’t know where the negative reviews came from—definitely not our experience at all. Service wha polite, gracious and attentive. And we dine worldwide including Michelin starred restaurants. Be advised some nights are reservation only, so don’t expect to walk in even if they don’t look busy. Definitely worth planning ahead.“

“Stopped by one evening to get some food to go from Geppeto's Pizza. They were very busy and our order took some time to be ready but that was ok because it tasted great. We ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sub, and Italian Sub and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Everything tasted great and we will definitely be back!“

“We went online before we arrived to be added to the waitlist, but it was still a little wait to be seated (It was a Friday night). The hostesses seemed a little off and confused (maybe they were new).
Once we got seated, it took a few minutes before our server came over to introduce herself and then a few more minutes before she came to take our order. She seemed very frazzled. She was nice but seemed nervous. Every time she sat something down on the table, she slammed it down (hopefully not on purpose), but it was loud enough to be startling.
The food was ready surprisingly fast, and it was all accurate and very good.

“Just want to shout out Jet’s pizza...I (like apparently ever other human in the area) called multiple places this afternoon for a pizza delivery a few hours ahead of when I wanted it, and Jet’s was the third try that could actually do the time I wanted the pizza to arrive. The time came and passed so I called 15 minutes after it was due to ask for an update. I was told that my order hadn’t been assigned to a driver because they got really backed up but it would be out ASAP. I was bummed since we had trick or treat to get crackin on, but I just said “ok thank you” and hung up and told the kids we would play it by ear for adjusted plans around when food got here. Just before 6:00, I get a call from Jet’s profusely apologizing, telling me a fresh pizza order would be to me shortly and my card would not be charged. My pizza arrived perfectly hot and fresh not long after, and my kids still got a full night of trick or treat in...just wanted to shout out Jet’s for this above and beyond gesture as I had NO expectation for such a thing, knowing how crazy all the pizza joints were tonight (10/31/20)“
