Il Bosco was exactly the kind of authentic Italian meal I hoped it would be. I brought my family, who are all Italian, and the food genuinely reminded me of the way my Nonna used to cook: fresh, thoughtful, comforting, and full of real flavor.

First of all, I absolutely love locally owned restaurants that are born out of passion and continue to stay that way. Il Bosco exemplifies this in every way. Instead of bread, when you sit down, they brought us a personal little pizza, that was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had in the area. And it was free.
