“Very cool place. I'd been wanting to come here for years and it didn't disappoint! We sat in the side patio area. Excellent milk bread! We got 3 pasta dishes to share which were all great. Also liked the drink pairings. Really top notch and a curated dining experience with excellent servers.Short video for patio orientation. If you're there in summer, I'd try to get there early if you'd like to sit out of the sun.”

“Sidebar is tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Mandolino's Pizza building on Main Street in charming Davidson. It's a wine and beer shop where you can buy a bottle, a can, or a glass. The selection is good and the prices are fair. Tried a nice bottle of Grenache for $26. No food served but you can order bites from surrounding restaurants and bring it up to Sidebar to enjoy in front of the fireplace! We had Mandolino's pizza and salads and as always - phenomenal. Our first visit to Sidebar turned into a fun surprise as it was Trivia Night unbeknownst to us: had a great time and would definitely go back. The bar is intimate, cozy, and well appointed for small groups or couples. Protip: trivia is on Wednesdays”

The waiter had excellent suggestions on wines to suit our palettes and offered samples for us to try before making our final selection. The charcuterie board was delicious and all locally sourced - such a nice touch! Can’t wait for our next visit!”

“Honestly this place deserves more business, I used to eat here periodically on my lunch break. The main cook always remembered what I ordered and had it ready in a matter of minutes.
