“This is always our choice for dinner or lunch out. The service is impeccable. The food is exquisite and consistent. You can’t have a mediocre meal here. Everything from apps, salads, wine, crafted beverages, entrees to coffee and dessert is absolute perfection. The crab cakes are my go to. My family ran a crab company for over 65 years here in NC and when I tell you these are the best crab cakes you’ll ever have, I’m not kidding. Zero binder-just sweet, jumbo lump in every bite. They are to die for. You can’t miss the cast iron corn bread with cheddar, jack, and chiles either. That honey drizzle…?…Chef’s kiss! The salads are always cold, crisp, and fresh. My “can’t miss” dessert is the banana cream pie topped with caramel, chocolate sauce, and cacao nibs. The barrel cut filet is top tier as well. 131 Main knows how to offer a fabulous dining experience. We’ve never had anything but stellar service. Last night Morgan was absolutely incredible! We love her! The restrooms are always clean and well stocked. The open kitchen concept is a bit of torture-LOL Primarily because the minute you step into the restaurant, the smells are just heavenly! You see flame kissed beef, pork, or chicken on the grill and all of the fresh vegetables. We take home more than we eat because everything is so amazingly delicious. Thank to the BOH, FOH, and management for all of your hard work. I will continue recommending you to everyone I meet! The people I know are already life long customers.“

“Our waitress Rachel was so friendly and genuine in her conversation. We didn't feel like just another table to be served. There was a teen birthday party near us and the place was hopping on a beautiful day in the 70's so it was pretty loud. Padded buffers inside the booths would likely help with this. They were out of the first2 things we tried to order so that was disappointing. We were seated at 1:15 so you might want to get there earlier for access to full menu. It's good to know if you have someone with mobility challenges: there were 2 handicap spaces fairly close to the front but all others were abit away. There is no way to drop off an elderly person fairly close to the door. Options are either quite a few stairs OR a long ramp. If there are other options, I didn't see it. The food was fresh and delicious and the menu was creative and thoughtful as compared to other places in the area. We were celebrating a birthday and received a thoughtful card but no discount or free dessert as with other places. Brunch specials change each week and they all sounded good.“

“Incredible! So many gluten free options, marked clearly on the menu. And FANTASTIC gluten free key lime pie! The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!“

“We had a great experience at Hickory Tavern! From the moment we walked in, the host made us feel welcome. They were friendly, gave us great recommendations, and took the time to tell us about the specials and house favorites, which made it so much easier to decide what to order.

Our waitress was wonderful—pleasant, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch and showed that they genuinely care about their guests’ experience.

I asked for the special BD offer. Mgr explained the procedure to get this promotion. However she made a exception which impressed me as well as the birthday boy. Food excellent, server I called Ebony (wrong name) smiled and brought all things requested in a timely fashion without the usual look of give me a chance. The 5ft 3 Mgr made small talk with BD boy. “First time visiting this location of Red Rocks. Saturday afternoon was very attentive. No seating inside at time of visit so was seated outdoors.. which we didn’t mind. Server was respectful and polite. Only problems was ALLLL THE FLIES. Fans were circulating above but not really near tables to serve any purpose other than moving air. Owner/manager greeted everyone which was very nice. But you really got to see what can be done with flies… you could barely get food on your fork up to your mouth before they were all over your plate or trying to get to the fork. That made for an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never ate on any restaurants outdoor area and flies were that bad.“

“I love my neighborhood Culver's in Mooresville (it's the closest to where I live). This restaurant has one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten! Culver's is counter services but a step up from other chain fast food. This location is clean, with good service and excellent food. Kudos to the manager.“
