“I met co-workers for lunch, what a great place. The menu consists of sandwiches, soups and salads, perfect for a light lunch. The small market is nice too. I had the Bacon, butter lettuce, pimento cheese sandwich on cornbread,. Wow, what a mix of flavors. If you are a BLT fan, you have to try it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There may be a small line at peak lunch, but it.moves steadily. If you are visiting or live in Davidson, NC, I reccomend you give it a try!“
“Very pleasant atmosphere; although it was busy, the restaurant is large enough to accommodate many tables without feeling cramped or too busy. We were seated immediately. Very friendly, efficient service, menu included a number of items for our son, who follows a dairy- and gluten-free diet. I had their house-made corned beef hash, which was excellent. When we return to Davidson, this will be our dining spot.“
“Recently we returned to the Brickhouse Tavern. Previously we had better service and food. During this visit our waitress disappeared for 20 minutes on 2 separate occasions. My wife's baked potato was old and potentially reheated. Her crab cakes were at best a 4 out of 10. My steak was great but honestly we probably won't be returning..atleast anytime soon. “This place has a great aesthetic. Upon entering, you are greeted by retro. The bill's banana split caught my eye. When it arrived, the spoons were kind of greasy because of the bananas, so my fingers were all sticky at the end.I did think that there would be different flavors, but it consisted of just vanilla. The cutlery that they provided was unfortunate. If it had been other than plastic, the presentation would have taken a big step ahead. We also ordered the veggie burrito, and it was hot and delicious. The way it was presented was fantastic. Keep in mind that THEY CHARGE EXTRA IF YOU PAY WITH CREDITCARD. They hadn't informed about this beforehand, which was disappointing. Make sure you carry some cash.“
“This is a gem for locals, and my go to for breakfast in Davidson. A little bigger inside than it looks and outside seating for the warmer months, a charming location for this chain that has never disappointed me. I order from the old menu and they always accommodate me, and all the servers are great and will give you interesting tidbits - one time they told me the biscuits just came out so I went ahead and got one hot and fresh and it was fantastic. For breakfast the prices are a bit on the higher end and it definitely gets crowded but I know the busy times and have never had an issue or a wait. Love this place!“
“Great draft selection and they even had cyser (a style of mead) on draft! We ordered the burgers and asked for one medium and one medium rare. They got the temp perfect. The fries were really delicious and crispy but the real winner was the sweet potato fries. Crispy and soft and some of the best I have ever had. We popped in for lunch one day and look forward to coming back to try the dinner menu soon!“
“This was awesome place to go. It was my first time. We had a work event there. We were in a private room. The food and service were impeccable. I am a pescatarian, and had so many choices. Crab cakes, shrimp, gnocchi, salad. And those who ate the beef medallions said they were delicious. As was the alcohol beverages. I highlighted recommend. But you will have to climb many steps to the door and I don't know if there was another entrance. Plenty of parking when we went but you are sharing with golfers so I could see on a busier day it getting full fast.“

“Very cool place. I'd been wanting to come here for years and it didn't disappoint! We sat in the side patio area. Excellent milk bread! We got 3 pasta dishes to share which were all great. Also liked the drink pairings. Really top notch and a curated dining experience with excellent servers.Short video for patio orientation. If you're there in summer, I'd try to get there early if you'd like to sit out of the sun.“
