“Service was a bit slow, food came out lukewarm/cold. Coffee wasn't good. Wish people knew about water filters and making good coffee.
Bacon and hash browns were terrific. Eggs cold. French toast was great. Belgian waffle was overcooked and cold.
Server was pleasant. Breakfast served all day.

“Our first visit was today. The food was amazing and the Manager that was working the afternoon was amazing. The Manager stepped up and came our waitress she filled our drinks and brought our bill. Our Waitress we had was horrible she never once refilled our drinks. She only took our order and delivered it to us. We did leave a tip which should go to the Manager. We will visit again just hope we have a different waitress.“

“Visiting Charlotte from New Hampshire, but had scouted out this place before we came. Interestingly enough, it appeared on the list of recommended places from our Airbnb hosts as well. We are very into the farm to table movement, big time Farmers market shoppers ourselves as well. The staff was very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating a honey allergy, even whipping up an alternative dressing for the salad we ordered. For the record, the kale salad we had was beyond exceptional. I am not exaggerating when I say that is was the best salad I have eaten in my 65 years! Recommended unconditionally. A must-stop for our next trip to Charlotte.“

“We've become big fans for Brewers At 4001 Yancey. Nice food menu and the quality is top notch. A large, diverse selection of beers with options to suit any palate. Most notably, it's evident by the staff that they place a strong emphasis on customer service and experience. Very friendly and always helpful with recommendations. It's a huge space with plenty of room inside and out. Well worth a visit in Charlotte's LoSo neighborhood.“

“Tried Chex Grill in Indian Trail today and let me just say… the food was SLAPPIN 😮‍🔥 But the real star? Rashad. Absolute top-tier human. There was a tiny “delay” with my jerk chicken sub because they were literally making the sauce fresh (which honestly just tells me everything I need to know). I wasn’t even bothered, but Rashad went out of his way to make sure I had food at the same time as my family and surprised me with a chicken, mushroom, and cheese sub (no clue the official name but BABYYYYY… it was BUSSIN). The kindness, the thoughtfulness, the vibes were unmatched. Food was amazing, service was superb, and it’s rare to see someone care that much these days. We’ll 100% be back. “Hadn’t heard of this spot but in our travels back to Atlanta area we stopped for dinner. The worst part of the evening was what seemed to be the swap over from one set of wait staff to the next. We had drinks that were tasty, the ahi tuna bowl, the Aji chicken egg rolls as well as my first experience with sizzling jambalaya. Being a Cajun myself I was judging hard but they delivered a slightly tweaked version if jambalaya with the fajita cast iron pan coming out frying the crispy rice that leveled up the dish. Happy to see these are a couple of these spots. One in Chatty Tn will be a bit closer and hopefully they live up to Charlotte!“

I enjoy my hot off the grill Cheesesteak today at “Chucks Cheesesteak.” I won’t say it’s the best in CLT but it’s relatively good. It’s definitely a good steak sandwich on your day off. Yes, you need to walk this off until you release. The Food Truck scared me a bit, but I watched him while he prepared the food and he has a Grade A placard. It’s definitely not rushed so, get your car washed while your steak is freshly made.“

“This is my favorite place to play pool ! The tables are always in excellent condition and everything is CLEAN ! The clientele have always been courteous and many of them I now call FRIENDS ! They have actually helped me improve my pool game with encouragement and technical suggestions. The food is well above average for this type of venue and the kitchen is also CLEAN !“
