We are very into the farm to table movement, big time Farmers market shoppers ourselves as well. The staff was very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating a honey allergy, even whipping up an alternative dressing for the salad we ordered. For the record, the kale salad we had was beyond exceptional. I am not exaggerating when I say that is was the best salad I have eaten in my 65 years! Recommended unconditionally. “I’ve had 3 meals there while traveling on business. This is an exceptional place for friendliness where so many people seem to be regulars and are called by their name. Chef T runs the kitchen staff and was ensuring everything got out fast and hot. I can honestly say nobody but Chef T has ever been able to cook my eggs the way I asked plus when I asked for crispy bacon, I got it. I even heard him in the kitchen telling the staff and it was right! Melanie served me the last time and she was as efficient and friendly as they come and provided lots of attention to all her customers. I do like that numerous servers ensured my cup of coffee was always filled. From preparing and serving delicious meatloaf and greens to sausage gravy and breakfast, they all work hard. And they do an amazing amount of takeout orders which I witnessed. Good job!“

Delicious!I got the seasonal winter gnocchi in a light sauce with the duck which is probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Then, got the black pepper butter cream cake and it was good but more dense than expected. She was available without being intrusive. We had a great evening and look forward to sitting in Jane's section again. The floor manager, Ashley, stopped by and chatted with us for a few moments. She really seemed on top of things and was interested in our perspective about the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly. “Friday night my husband and I decided to kick off the weekend by trying a Chopped Champion's food truck. If you're on the hunt for the ultimate burger and sandwich, you can find it here. We arrived shortly before they were done for the night. As a result, they were sold out of their fish sandwiches. I was bummed because it's the only thing I wanted to try. My husband ordered the Double Bacon Swiss. I'm not really into spicy food, but I'm also the type who doesn't like ordering the exact same thing, so I opted for the Hot Chicken Smash.I'm not a chef, a cook, a baker, or a grill master. When I take a bite of food, I can't readily tell you every single ingredient I taste. That being said, my perspective on this burger and chicken sandwich won't have tons of detail. In a nutshell, the food was a chef's kiss emoji, a praise hands emoji, and the fire emoji. Seriously. After we both took one bite of the burger and one bite of the chicken sandwich, we agreed to split them because they were both sooo good. This is what I expect to taste when I'm feeling like a burger or sandwich at a nice restaurant. Flavor-filled, high-quality food. I can't tell you much more about it, other than the burger had lots of bacon on it and the chicken sandwich was HOT. My husband said it had "some kick." But I don't typically eat spicy food so my mouth was on fire. And I still ate all of my half because it was just that good. After the first bite, I completely forgot about being bummed out because they sold out of fish. “This place was literally finger lickin good. We couldn't decide on what to eat. Then we saw this place and looked at the menu and went inside on a hunch. I'm so glad we trusted the hunch! The BBQ chicken was delicious! The sauce was thick and the chicken was juicy! The coleslaw was a bit watery but definitely delicious! The Mac n cheese was cheesy and crispy on the top. But the friend chicken...let me tell you. This fried chicken, was the best, fried chicken, I've had in so long! It was nice and crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside! You can't find that just anywhere. The potato salad was lacking but I was too focused on the chicken to care. The staff were friendly and quick with greeting. They were also very helpful with answering questions and even let the woman behind me sample a piece when she wasn't sure! I cannot boast enough about this place. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back when traveling through Charlotte.“
