“Never a disappointment! From a grilled or fried chicken sandwich or salad to a great burger. Also during her recent brunch on the Fourth of July, just as it used to be the best breakfast in town! “We have been going here for many years and often we order the same thing depending on time of day. This time I went for dinner and order the pecan crusted chicken sandwich which I have ordered several times before. When the food came the sandwich was cut in half. I noticed that half of the sandwich had a small cut of chicken. I thought that the chicken maybe had been cut off centered. But, as I looked at the other half of the sandwich the piece of chicken was the same small size. It literally looked like a chicken tender had been cut in half and placed on the toast. It was very disappointing. We asked the waitress about it and she took it back to the kitchen. In the end they brought us 2 more sandwiches the same way. This sandwich was not worth the money.“
“Quite a strange name of the place. Pelicans are avian of temperate weather zones. Snowballs are typically in a colder climate zone. So .. Mixing the two gives it a whimsical avant garde atmosphere. The kids love it. It's good.. It's a happy time and place. You must come here. Oh yes I dare say you must.“

“I have been coming here for over 25yrs. I have seen ups and downs thru the years. I have to say that management has a handle on service and food. I am happy to rewrite my review. The service is really good and the food was done just right.( the waitress commented that my meal was going to keep someone on there toes) kristie, Ashley, and Amanda are a great team. As well as the rest of the staff.“

“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again. Thanks SoCo for coming to York County.“

“My family loves Tex Mex!! We don’t get there as often as we would like due to living on the other side of town now, but when we walk in they treat us like old neighbors! Even playing our “family song” for us on the juke box. Food is ALWAYS delicious, literally have never gotten anything bad there, service is always amazing..they really take pride in great customer service and the atmosphere is always so welcoming!!!!“

“We were coming from a doctor’s appointment and decided to stop by. I don’t have pictures but the food here was very good. Everything was cooked the way we wanted it and I have no problem coming back next time we go there. The staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The burger was amazing ?. We also got salad and fries I am impressed with the whole experience.“

“Ate here tonight (1/31/22) around 6 pm. Only one waitress and one cook. We were told before we were seated that only 2 were working. Our waitress was amazing. She was taking care of everyone in there. So friendly, smiling and very sweet. Order was exactly right, food was hot and good so cook was also doing a great job. “I needed a good meal for lunch and today's lunch was spectacular. I got the Thursday special. $12.45. Included turkey, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, roll and cornbread, two sides.... I got green beans and candied yams. It was hot and delicious. I was served by a very polite and attentive server. Got iced tea too.
There was plenty of food. I really enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend.“

“We have been going to Cherokee grill for 6 years We love the friendly staff and the music . Our experience with our to go order was unfortunately awlful . I ordered a chef salad and Brunswick stew . The salad I ended up throwing it out . The meat was basically lunch meat and piles of bacon bits on top .The one egg was tough . My husband s stew was in a small container and it was runny even after we added our own rice . I am not sure why the food was terrible yesterday. We will continue to go but we will never order these 2 items again“
