“Hadn't been here in a long time so we decided to stop by since we were back in the area. They've added a drive thru in the post COVID era but aren't necessarily equipped to handle both dine in and carry out orders efficiently... the wait time for our food was a little long. I ordered cheese grits, one egg, toast, and hashbrowns and everything was good except the hashbrowns (too crispy). Customer service was great and it was nice to see there was still some good down home southern hospitality among the customers dining together.“

“My friend asked to stop by the drive thru.The young lady who served us at the window was unexpectedly nice. Our food was delivered correctly. Everything was delicious. The only thing that bothered me is that I paid $14 for my sandwich and baked potatoes and when I asked for butter and arrived home, I discovered the small butter container they gave me was just vegetable oil, palm oil, corn syrup and preservatives. I was super disappointed, to pay that much and not get actual cow butter but a really toxic combination of oils.That's really not normal or acceptable for me personally. To me, it's irrelevant if I'm in The South. Cheap, bad food shouldn't be served alongside good quality, especially when you charge that much. If you're going to charge someone that much for fast food, the least you can do is offer refrigerated butter, it's not difficult to keep small frozen containers and it melts quickly when you use it over the baked potato. With how much you charge and the cheap bread you serve the quality meat on, I'm sure the company can afford tiny servings of real butter. I feel like I was lied to and tricked. I should have read the package but I was too hungry. I get really sick when I've waited too long to eat. It ruined my potato and made it greasy not creamy. I didn't realize until after it had melted weirdly what was written on the label. Please offer better ingredients. Thanks.To the customers, please just use butter at home instead of ingesting the toxic imitation butter they hand out. How has this become a norm here? And, how they don't feel the need to let people know that they only have butter substitutes to go, is beyond me... “If you are looking for good wings in Rock Hill I'd recommend giving Rock City Tavern a try. They got my take out order exactly right (I like them crispy) and they were friendly, and fast. He has a variety of food to offer, and our family has never gotten anything that we did not love from here. His restaurant is small, and many times is overlooked but don't pass it by or you will be sorry. Dino is creative and loves to come up with different dishes. His Greek dishes are amazing and his catering with Melanie are top notch. He and Melanie catered my son's wedding and the food and presentation received rave reviews. “I just discovered town tavern today and I'm so glad I did. I got 10 wings for $7.50, which is way cheaper than any place I've seen in a long time. But the best part was they were the best wings I think I've ever had! I got all flats which cost me $1.75 extra but it was worth it. They were very meaty cooked perfectly and the sauce was outstanding. My wife got a fried chicken salad that she raved about but when she tried one of my wings she like that better. The waitress, Maria was very good and we were overall quite happy. This is my new wing place. If you like wings and you haven't tried it you need to. “Tried this place for the first time last night after just moving to town- we got the Monterey wrap with the pasta salad. The pasta salad is incredible!! I will go there from now on just to eat that! “I love Hobo's! I've gone several times on Thursdays for their live music night. Definitely a great place to be! Food is amazing! The fried pickles and Wedge Salad tend to be my go to but others I've gone with have had the burgers and wings and were satisfied. The management team is very accommodating. Twice now they have offered to comp my appetizer. The first time it was because they seated our table then didn't assign a waittres to us as it was around shift change. Honestly, I didn't even notice because it was my first time there and was looking at the menu so I didn't feel neglected at all. The 2nd time they comped my appetizer was when it didn't come out first, it came with our meals (which again didn't bother me because it wasn't like we waited forever). I thought it was very nice of them to be so aware and accommodating.“
