“My wife and I have lived in Stallings Matthews area for three years and we finally got some barbecue from Stallings stone store BBQ. The moment I walked in and saw their cozy three person operation I was taken back to 1987. The food was spectacular and their smiles were the cherry on top. Great customer service and a smile sure does make the food taste a “wee” bit better. Our first visit of many to come was a pleasure beyond comparison. Oh, GET THE BRISKIT!!!“

“Phenomenal dinner and outstanding customer service. I had the apple beggar's purse appetizer, and it was as good as dessert. Just amazing. I had the Seabass entree, again very impressed. The flavor profile for both of these dishes was unreal. Paired with Oban 14 neat. I am so glad I went in!!“

The food is delicious and the services is as equally good.
I was blown away on a visit to the Palace and the waitress knew what I wanted.
Talk about extraordinary customer service.
Thank you for making me feel like part of the community.
I never leave town without a visit to the Palace for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
In addition the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
I wish there were more restaurants that took this type of time to take care of there customers.

We couldn't complain about any of it. The appetizers were amazing. The Grilled shrimp was so good. The half chicken was so flavorful & juicy, the burger was great, the truffle fries with the sauce were to die for. To finish it off we had the cookies with salted caramel icecream & they were absolutely amazing.“

“If you asked me a few weeks ago if I would recommend this place, I probably would say yes. We usually never have any issues here but this past Saturday was terrible. There weren't many people inside which was nice but the hostess was so focused on her phone that she didn't see us come in. One of the waitress asked her if she helped us yet. I believe the owner took our order which she got wrong. I'm allergic to gluten and the Philly cheese was on a regular bun and not gluten free. She told me I spoke to quietly and didn't hear me. WTF? She heard me say my order ( Philly, meat and cheese, with fruit) but she didn't hear the gluten free part? I asked my daughter if I said it just to make sure and she said I did. Being a vegan is a choice, being allergic to gluten is not. I'm not sure if we will come back. She didn't even apologize. One of the other waitress was very nice about it and apologized.“

As a wedding professional with well over 200 weddings in my portfolio, I can tell you that Steak 48’s service and care for their clients/guests far surpassed the other restaurants I have done events at. The staff was not only patience and diligent with the guests, but that went out of their way to make vendors such as myself feel comfortable. The staff was introduced to me at the start of the event and continued to call me by name, ask if I needed water/snacks, and continuously made sure that I was ready to move forward before starting to serve the next course. I was incredibly impressed and am looking forward to more events and my own date nights at Steak 48.“

“Great local spot for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately forgot our waitress name but she was amazing at explaining everything. It was our first visit there ever. Tried it out for breakfast and lunch. Food also arrived really quick and was delicious. Very busy during lunch hours, was told they’re popular for their burgers so we had to come back to try it out. Small but cozy spot I loved the interior style.“

The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

We stopped coming for a while because our food gets cold almost instantly because of the temperature, if they could fix the air, I think they would do much better!“
