We absolutely love the Metro Diner in Matthews. The food is always delicious and the service is amazing. We have been served multiple times by Sherry R, and she is always so sweet and helpful. We highly recommend you give it a try! The cinnamon rolls pancakes are delicious!

This location is definitely a hidden gem!! My partner and I were seated right away and the staff was so nice and friendly! I had the chicken and waffles and my partner had the shrimp and grits. The chicken and waffles came with a homemade strawberry butter and the sweet and spicy sauce on the side for the chicken 10/10 highly recommend!!
