Portions size of the entrees were a little small but not a rip off. Reservations recommended. Hostess said it was 1.5 hour wait to be on wait list. Great dinner environment“

She immediately took our order, delivered, then periodically checked to ensure we were satisfied and see if there was any other need. WOW! Haven't had such great service in years. “Hickory is our go to. The food is consistent. It can get a little busy at times and we wish their wine menu was a little broader but the service is always awesome. Zoe is an awesome bartender ... ask for her!

“It's been years since I have had food at a Hickory Tavern. I ordered the Smokehouse burger, and it was delicious. It came out fairly quickly. Our server was really good. I can't remember her name, but she was working the bar on December 9th, we were at table 33 (the three sisters). We want to thank her again! She was quick, nice, and understanding.“

“Update: I've updated my review as we were invited to come back, so we took them up in their offer. The brisket was excellent, enjoyed the Mac and cheese. Hubby got the BBQ sandwich and he enjoyed it as well.
I really appreciate IPP, STEPPING UP to show they care and the day we went was just an off day. They did say they have gone and hired new folks, so partially staffing.....Look forward to dinning with them again soon‼️

“Came to Hickory Tavern for the first time tonight and all I can say is Wow, my expectations were exceeded. The food was delicious and our server Kara was amazing, she did a great job. She was very sweet and attentive and able to answer all of our questions. She suggested the spinach dip and it was so good we ended up getting a second one …. LOL. I also got the Chicken & Rice, my husband the Pow Pow shrimp. Sooo good, 12/10. We will definitely be coming back soon and requesting Kara again as our server. Thanks for a great experience, HT!!!“

My main complaint is Shika the girl who answers the phone to take your order has a getto attitude problem!!!! Why is she answering the phone?
