50 Best Vegan Restaurants near Waxhaw

“Always the Best Food, drinks and people!! Thank you for all of it!!“

“My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight. We had Mary’s nachos (amazing!) and I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was so crispy and very good! The wait staff were great. We brought our 3 month old with us. The wait staff fawned over her and the loud atmosphere kept her entertained so this mama could finish a meal! We will definitely be back soon!“

“We had a great family experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and prices were reasonable. The experience was made especially pleasant by Mike, our server for the evening. From the start, he set a wonderful tone and was so helpful helping us choose from the menu. Get the fried deviled eggs!! And thanks to Mike and the crew“

“Always “great food and plenty of it” as they say. Best B’fast’s and shrimp & grits (see pic) you can find. A lot more choices if you’re adventurous! Place is clean with Polite staff and always helpful.“

“Excellent food and great atmosphere“

“Jimmy makes the best pizza in town! Always the best. Hits every spot, every time! Love the hot burrata!!“

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“Great food and service. I recommend the chicken parm!!“

“Went to this location for the first time to try viva chicken with my husband! We were greeted but the most wonderful person at the counter. she was friendly and very personable. I had never gone to a viva chicken so I wanted something they didn’t have on today’s menu but She made sure to recommend me something just as good. she was very welcoming and cheery! we loved the food so much and will be back. while we ate Miss Sarah I believe was her name; came out and asked us how our food was. that was above and beyond for me. I n not much of a reviewer but when the service is good and so is the food you have to say something!! Sarah if you see this great job with the customer service and I look forward to visiting again!“

“First time visit. Food was delicious and staff was very attentive... FIVE STAR !!!“

“Stopped in on a busy Friday evening for my favorite Pistachio pizza. Also grabbed the Arugula salad. Everything was magnificent. The food was fresh and hot with fresh ingredients. Service was also on point. Jordon specifically did an amazing job attending to our eat in needs, making sure we didn’t want for a thing. I highly recommend stopping by to get a taste of authentic Napoleon style pizza.“

“View was great. Drinks were ok. They were out of a view items on their drink menu. including beer and cider. Food presentation was good, Serving size is small to average. Food good, but flavor did not match high prices. Items I enjoyed were Salmon, Thai Chili Greenbeans and Strawberry Shortcake.“

“New favorite restaurant. Great service. Great food. Great prices. I would recommend Ma Ma Wok to anyone.“

“This was such a great experience I will keep coming back here! 100% the customer service is so great and they made it very easy to choose what I wanted for my poke bowl and my boba drink I also had a laugh when the lady at the register had to teach me to use chop sticks cause I’m awful at it 😂 but she made it seem so easy I loved and enjoyed ever minute there and highly recommend it!… I would add a photo but I ate it too quick!!! 😋“

“Angie was absolutely amazing! Friendly and prompt. Food was delish!“

“Great food and service! 👍👍“

“consistently great authentic Mexican. Everything on the menu is delish and the staff are always friendly. No longer a food truck. The restaurant sits behind the gas station. love it!“

“This is a hidden gem! It’s our new favorite place. The food and service were excellent!“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“

“Wonderful owners who are professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend supporting their business!“

“Delicious authentic Italian in a great atmosphere.“

“Great fish tacos and the carryout margaritas were awesome and very reasonable priced“

“Great sushi options. Ballantine roll was superb, terrific calamari and good selection of cocktails.“

“Best ramen in the Charlotte area hands down“

“Super yummy food! Great variety of flavors! Cream cheeses are delish! But limited places to actually eat. It's not a full service place, if you're looking for that. Just fyi. Our order was shorted 2 bagels but they made it right immediately. We will be back! This is def a take out place.“

“The restaurant has a classy vibe, great food, awesome service. The one downfall is the music. We came for dinner and couldn't wait to finish our meal and leave. We decided against another drink because the music was not fitting for the atmosphere and was obnoxious at best. Need to play soft relaxing music.“

“I’ve been coming to this location for 5-6 years now, the food has been consistently high quality from day one. All the dishes taste exactly how you would expect the dish to taste, but even better. Thank you for all of the years of outstanding service 🙏🏻“

“Today we visited this restaurant and enjoyed nice food. Prices are reasonable too. People who insist only vegetarian food can enjoy here because it’s purely vegetarian. Their coconut chutney and sambhar are delicious. The lady Olga’s customer service is very nice. This was our third time visiting this restaurant and the food was as good as it was at the first time which means their quality is great!“

“these are the absolute best acai bowls around. the fruit is unbelievably fresh and the staff is so friendly. My kids have chosen this over birthday cakes! highly recommend!“

“The place has amazing staff and really good service. Food is great! This place has really good appetizers, I can recommend General Tso's Cauliflower, that was good.“

“Local Scoop is a hidden gem! If you’re looking for homemade, rich, creamy ice cream, this is the place. It’s locally owned, and you can absolutely taste the quality in every scoop. It’s not the cheapest ice cream around, but you get what you pay for—premium ingredients and incredible flavor.

The must-try flavor is the Salted Peanut Butter & Oreo. It’s one-of-a-kind and hands down one of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. Perfectly creamy, packed with flavor, and loaded with delicious mix-ins.

In a world full of chain ice cream shops, Local Scoop stands out by doing things the right way. Great product, local ownership, and ice cream that’s worth every penny. Highly recommend!!!“

“Food is great. But the size of the meat kabobs has shrank by about 40% since COVID.“

“The food and service at Improper Pig in Plaza Midwood is great. Traci is wonderful! I love the outdoor space. I’ll be back.“

“Went because I got a gift card, drove from Lake Wylie SC. Our waitress Halie was Fantastic! Very friendly, beautiful smile, had a great time laughing, she explained every question about the menu. She is the one to ask for! 5 Star rating! Food was excellent! Prices are reasonable, the murals are Colorful! Looking to Going again!“

“Great place to go for the best chopped salad. All ingredients are fresh. Wide selection of salads and ability to add additional items if wanted. Very clean. Pleasant staff. A must go place for salads. User friendly app to order and pay ahead. Great location in Blakeney Shopping Center. Definitely a place to return again and again as I do. My favorite is the California Steakhouse salad and I do the add ins for a Southwest twist.“

“First tried dining here for a date night, we really loved it so we went back for a family brunch and our little girl absolutely loved it! Our server Andrew was awesome too! From appetizer rangoons, to our yuzu sodas, the entrees (dang! that char siu is the best), and the dessert... customizing our bubble waffles was definitely the highlight!☺“

“My go to place for enjoyable meal with friends.“

“The food was outstanding and service was excellent. Would highly recommend. The pork Bahn Mi was delicious and the pickled vegetables complemented it so perfectly. Omg amazing“

“It’s inside the Sugar Donut shop. I dropped by yesterday with an intense craving of gelato and this little shop did not disappoint. The gelato flavors were on point. I had the rice flavor and the dark chocolate, both turned out to be delicious. Not too sweet but with plenty of flavor packed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will go back soon.“

“Simply the best! Staff are always incredibly friendly and the Sushi is delicious. I have been dining at Red Sake for the last 3 years and every visit has been exceptional not only in food but also service 🙌🏻“

“We enjoy meeting up here to chat. We always check the day old pastry basket before we order- and often there are yummy treasures to try! The seasonal syrups for lattes are delicious.“

“We were staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express and were arriving late. With less than 15 minutes before closing, the staff welcomed us in kindly and agreed to take our order. We had a no name cake, loaded carnivore and the margarita pizzas. Staff was extremely friendly, food was amazingly delicious. Favorite drizzle options of the balsamic glaze and bbq sauce were like icing on a cake=pizza perfection.“

“I’ve been a longtime vendor for Brixx, but since I’m usually here early in the mornings, I don’t often get the chance to actually sit down and enjoy a meal. Today, though, I had the pleasure of being here around lunchtime and finally got to grab a small pizza for myself!

Jason runs an excellent location here in Blakeney. The restaurant is always clean, open, and running smoothly, and the location itself is fantastic. I always enjoy being here, especially when I get the chance to stop in during a lunch break.

And, of course, it goes without saying that you can’t beat that classic Brixx wood-fired taste.

10/10!“

“This is my family’s go- to Indian restaurant. We have done dine- in and take away both plenty of times. The taste is absolutely perfect! Always the same taste and no surprises. Service is good. Atmosphere is calm too. Highly recommended!“

“Great food and service. Upscale but worth the money.“

“Excellent sushi every time. Reasonably priced with a great atmosphere.“
