“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“Went to this location for the first time to try viva chicken with my husband! We were greeted but the most wonderful person at the counter. she was friendly and very personable. I had never gone to a viva chicken so I wanted something they didn’t have on today’s menu but She made sure to recommend me something just as good. she was very welcoming and cheery! we loved the food so much and will be back. while we ate Miss Sarah I believe was her name; came out and asked us how our food was. that was above and beyond for me. I n not much of a reviewer but when the service is good and so is the food you have to say something!! “Favorite place to get ramen was at Tea Plus and didn't know they had moved to this new location. For a year, I had tried ramen at multiple different places and none of them were as flavorful. As soon as I found out they had moved here, I came to try it again and it's just as good as I remember. Tiffany, the owner, was here and was just as welcoming and sweet as I remember. Tried the mango and milk pudding, and peach tea they have now, too. It was delicious.“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“

The heavier set guy assembling the pizza, not so much. Clearly didn’t want to be working. Kept saying “and” after each of the 4 toppings. Not a smile, not a how are you, not a thank you….just abrupt and probably shouldn’t be in a customer service spot.“
