“Went to this location for the first time to try viva chicken with my husband! We were greeted but the most wonderful person at the counter. she was friendly and very personable. I had never gone to a viva chicken so I wanted something they didn’t have on today’s menu but She made sure to recommend me something just as good. she was very welcoming and cheery! we loved the food so much and will be back. while we ate Miss Sarah I believe was her name; came out and asked us how our food was. that was above and beyond for me. I n not much of a reviewer but when the service is good and so is the food you have to say something!! Sarah if you see this great job with the customer service and I look forward to visiting again!“

“Not only is the food incredible, but it’s exactly what a vegan restaurant should be: political! Bean has signage for animal rights, LGBTQIA rights, and more. They host fun events, like pizza night. My girlfriend and I got brunch here: the eggs benedict and chocolate chip waffles. “Stopped in on a busy Friday evening for my favorite Pistachio pizza. Also grabbed the Arugula salad. Everything was magnificent. The food was fresh and hot with fresh ingredients. Service was also on point. Jordon specifically did an amazing job attending to our eat in needs, making sure we didn’t want for a thing. I highly recommend stopping by to get a taste of authentic Napoleon style pizza.“

“Celiac? Gluten sensitivity? This is your place. Living with Celiac or having a gluten intolerance is frustrating by itself. It becomes much more frustrating when you go to a restaurant and you tell the server your issue, and they look at you like you're an alien from another planet… or worse… get frustrated with you. I've lost count of how many places I've had to walk out of because I knew just from speaking to them that it wasn't safe for me to eat there. That doesn't happen here. Not only do they have plenty of gluten-free options (which are well labeled on the menu)... But the staff also seem to be well trained on how to handle the questions that we may have. I had a server specifically ask me one time after I ordered a gluten-free bun if I was Celiac…that has never happened before…anywhere. (I've been here enough now that they pretty much all know without me having to even say it anymore, but that's beside the point.) The staff and owners have always been extremely friendly whenever we are there. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and it's just an overall great experience for us every time we go. It means a tremendous amount to be able to sit down at a table and not really worry about how I'm going to feel 30 minutes after I leave because someone in the kitchen or the server themselves doesn't understand how to handle my food after I tell them my issue. It SHOULD be this easy everywhere, but those of us that deal with it everyday know that it's not. If you're looking for a place that serves great food, with staff that understands what it means to be careful with cross-contamination and what you're served, this is your place. Communicate with them clearly, and you will not be disappointed.🤘“

“One of my favorite fast casual spots, and the ingredients at Piada seem fresher and better quality! I always get the power bowl with some piada on the side. We make it a ritual to visit every time my sons get their haircut in the same shopping center. They love the piada pockets! Also very friendly staff that goes above & beyond!“

“Never disappoints (except when they are out of vegan or regular carrot cake, haha). They have out of this word food and many great vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore options. The vibe is chill and I am never disappointed. This is a hidden gem off Central that closes early, so get there (and check their hours) if you haven’t been. Their food is top tier for veggie comfort food but also if you are looking for healthy options. A lot of their food is named from stable Charlotte spots. 10/10 recommend!“

“We needed a Gluten Free option and the usuals are getting old! The Steak sandwich on a GF bun was delicious! It fit the bill perfectly for what we were seeking. The Parmesan potato’s pancake was cooked to perfection. The only adjustments I would make was (when the steak was after the server asked and the steak was ordered medium, that it should have at least some pink), but it was tender and flavorful. The multi-server thing got confusing. One person took drink order, another delivered (1 was incorrect), another ran the food and we were not told of the multi-layered service). Everyone was nice, it was just a little confusing and no one ever asked about drink refills and when the coffee cup was empty there was no one around for a long time. But… we still like the food, prices, atmosphere, options, and consistency.“
