Not only is the food incredible, but it’s exactly what a vegan restaurant should be: political! Bean has signage for animal rights, LGBTQIA rights, and more. They host fun events, like pizza night. My girlfriend and I got brunch here: the eggs benedict and chocolate chip waffles. The carrot bacon is AMAZING, and I’m not usually on that loves “healthy” meat replacements more than “meaty” ones like Beyond Meat. Come support this place!!! Everything about this restaurant is amazing! I absolutely love it here- I eat as often as I can because the owners and the atmosphere are so special! So grateful to have this place in Charlotte for us vegans or those with allergies!
We tried this place for the first time and we are vegans so this was perfect - tried tofu bean bowl, jalepaeno cheddar burger, pimento cheesesish dip - for dessert had chocolate cake and raspberry cheesecake - everything was delicious the only one thing I wasn’t a fan of was the dip - it had a sweet flavor that I wasn’t really expecting but everything else was amazing.
