“Quick and friendly service. Fill your own drinks. To go cups are offered at time of order. We have eaten here several times and we have never been disappointed. We are usually a little over full because the burgers are large. The big tasty is my go to menu item with tots. It is one the top burgers I have ever had. I really enjoy the tots here also. Tawnee usually gets the shroom burger without onions and always tries to finish it. The fries are very good also, but I’m partial to the tots. We will continue to eat here on a regular basis. They have daily specials on the chalkboard when you come in the door. Plenty of clean seating has been available for us when we have been here. The only slight negative is decor for seating could use an uplift, but it is still okay and it is comfortable enough.Parking: Tons of close parking is available“

“As you pass the Skinny Cook, it looks like a hole in a wall restaurant, but it's much more. It's where you eat home cooked meals with family or friends. It's a well-known place by all locals in Monroe. It stays busy for breakfast and lunch. The prices are very reasonable, you can't beat it. I had lunch there and ordered the loaded tots and chicken wings. The wings were spicy but not super hot, just right. The loaded tots came with tons of melted cheese and bacon bits. “Main Street bistro recently catered a conference I attended in Monroe. Not only was the food they offered amazing but the staff was very friendly and cordial. The egg salad and chicken salad finger sandwiches were incredible! Obviously homemade, very simple and absolutely delicious. Prime Rib was served at a carving station one night (all meals were buffet style at this event). I don't normally eat a lot of red meat but I asked the server if he could carve me some that was a bit less rare and he said absolutely. It was slightly pink and absolutely delicious! I was so glad I had asked for some. I grabbed some of the whipped horseradish sauce to have with it. Amazing! Highly recommend if your group is considering A catered event that you call these folks.Dietary restrictions: The first evening on the charcuterie table hummus was offered in addition to multiple crackers and lots of different veggies and fruit. Egg salad finger sandwiches were also offered. Folks who were gluten-free and or dairy free could've also found something to eat at the buffet.“

The food is ok, but not as good as it used to be, and the burgers were much smaller. The prices are very reasonable. The service was great, as always. The restaurant was not very clean. There were a lot of tables that needed to be wiped down, which is to be expected at a busy time of day, but it was overall not very clean.“

“I am not a big fan of Golden Corral personally, I prefer to go to a Chinese buffet.. but I'm not gonna let that keep me from leaving a positive review. I've been to this location multiple times and each time the food has been warm, and the prices reasonable. My only gripe is they let me run out of sweet tea in my glass on multiple occasions, which is my identifier if a server is worthy of a great tip. This location is usually very busy around the lunch / dinner hours while there are always seats available, the business does affect the waiter's ability to provide adequate service.“

“Slim Chickens has some of the highest quality products I have tasted from a fast food restaurant. Their chicken is fried to perfection, with it being tender and juicy on the inside while remaining respectably crispy on the outside. The fries tasted fresh, desirable texture with the fine crisp, and a chefs quality of saltiness.I'm not sure if the sauces are just a marketing ploy or not, but; they come in non-vacuum sealed individual units, and are refrigerated. This atleast leads me to speculate that the sauces are made fresh, and are not heavily processed with preservatives. They do taste phenomenal compared to other fast food dipping sauces.The atmosphere of the establishment is pretty run of the mill, good music selection for casual dining. Also, well thought out floor planning to maximize seating while respecting foot traffic patterns. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Overall, a great dine in or to-go lunch and dinner experience!“
“6/16/23. A group of 20 of my sewing group ate at Mr G's, trying out the restaurant under new ownership. A couple of mix ups, when one of our guys got someone's vegetarian gyro. Got that quickly solved, and he decided that it was delicious too! Hot onion rings with real onion, great gizzard, pork chops, fish sandwich, hamburgers. All was fresh and hot from the kitchen and great service! We are very happy with the new "Mr G's", even though we miss Bill and the crew who had served us so well over the years.
