Perfect little spot for the city of monroe. Kind of reminds me of cheers. Everybody friendly, everybody welcome. I don't give 5 stars Lightly. Tavern 74 has earned it. Two thumbs up.
Mama in the kitchen cooks her butt off everytime. Each time I’ve ordered I’ve made sure she was on duty . Bartender that wears the wristbands/sweatband is really good! Nothing bad to say other than maybe the inside needs a revamp.

Been here many times, always great food, service but yesterday the female bartender who I've never seen before was clearly on something, was going around to a lot of the customers saying very bad things about the regular bartender creating a hostile work environment. Her little kids were in there with her husband watching this all happen. We won't be back until she is gone.
