“This is our go-to place for good fast food and frozen custard. Servers are warm, polite, very friendly (shout out to Mariana). Food is great with ample servings - burgers, sandwiches, shrimp dinner and salads - it's good variety for a fast food place. Frozen custard especially the flavor of the day is always a real treat. We look forward to every visit in this location!“

“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

The restaurant has a very downhome feel in the atmosphere and the staff is so friendly. I was seated immediately and approached for what I wanted to drink. While I just ordered a water a lady was kind and brought out a small pitcher for me to use for refilling.

The sign on the window says the best burgers in town. In my opinion this is probably accurate. Why? I stated earlier it tasted like a burger I would have made right in my kitchen. It came out hot, fresh and just the right amount of seasoning. It was really light tasting which I prefer because I enjoy the burger itself. Ordered a couple of hot dogs as well to try and while they were as basic as basic could be that was absolutely perfect!

Looking at the menu you would be hard pressed to find anything that's not a reasonable cost especially in today's landscape. Cash price is cheaper and there's a 4% surcharge for using a card. Quite honestly even with the surcharge my ticket was still cheaper than anywhere else I could have got what I had.

If you've never been stop by and give them a try. I look forward to coming back and trying some other things on the menu!“

“Excellent and expedient service. Ava stopped by every 5-6 minutes to check in and was incredibly nice. Food was great and reasonably priced. Friday visit and reservations were needed to dine in for dinner, but outside seating was available for walk-ins.“

Ours closed down, and my wife was excited to get their infamous salad bar which was freshly stocked on our visit. I have to say, this location in Rock Hill, SC, was top-notch! Our waitress told us about the Mix and Match Trio appetizer because my wife and I wanted to try different items as our starter. Our medium rare steaks were spot on! The delightfully, pleasant new manager, Amanda, stopped by our table to help us sign up for their phone app to receive a coupon code for a free dessert. She showed us how to earn rewards that we could use at other Ruby Tuesday locations, along our travels. The New York cheesecake is her favorite, so we followed her best judgement. She was absolutely right! It was so delicious that we decided to order one for the road. We will, certainly, be stopping by this location on our way home to Ohio. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! “I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!“

“Karaoke Thursday was awesome. Several very talented singers were in the house. The draft beer selection seemed extensive however several of the options were unavailable. Surprisingly there were no seasonal options such as pumpkin or Octoberfest beers. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the evening. One low point was the food offerings. We ordered several items and everything seemed to be frozen and not freshly prepared in house. Specifically the chicken strips ordered were of good quality however were processed frozen strips. The burgers are angus grade according to the menu but are frozen. One positive note is they have tater tots. All of the food received was hot and prepared as expected. The prices for the food and beer are reasonable. Overall. A good time and a fun time.“

“Quirky restaurant, steam punk decor. Their burgers are certainly impressive, and the fries were fantastic. Namely, The Jekyll Burger, was delicious and unique with the pimento cheese and pepper jelly. I ordered a medium rare steak with sides, of which the steak was cooked exceptionally, much talent! I would recommend you check this place out. My only suggestion is to have smaller plate ware for the steaks, to increase the perception of more food and the mashed potatoes and asparagus could've been more heavily seasoned, though that's my opinion. I thought it was lackluster compared to their burger and salad entree. Great location, lots of shops and nice places to sit or walk around after a meal.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“We love the Foxhole! The food is tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The real stars of this place, though, are the bartenders, Janet and David. They are so personable, kind, and welcoming, not to mention they make amazing cocktails! (Janet's espresso martini is one of the best I have ever had) We are locals, so there are lots of competing places with similar vibes, but the service here is truly unmatched. We frequent the Foxhole often simply because Janet and David are some of the best bartenders around. Exceptional service with staff who truly care about doing a good job and making their guests feel at home.“
