“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

It’s really hard to dine out with these limitations and they were so helpful and the food was still so good even without the dairy and soy! :)“

“I typically enjoy the food. Fish always good. I have to tell them every time to fix my tenderloin tip veggies soft or they will be practically raw. My main complaint is Shika the girl who answers the phone to take your order has a getto attitude problem!!!! Why is she answering the phone? I do not understand because as the first contact she is not friendly but just rude!“

“Four of us went out for a special dinner last night that was a treat by my son and his girlfriend. My husband said it was the best shrimp and grits he ever tasted! I started with the shrimp appetizer and a delicious cocktail, followed by an excellent steak that was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We hosted a coworkers going-away celebration there and the staff went above and beyond. It was group service and every single person was warm and hospitable.
The food is always outstanding. And we always look forward to the drink menus - wine, mocktail and cocktail selections are truly impressive.

“Checked in late & didn't want to go out. Ordered a burger & it was delicious. It was served with a fresh ciabatta bun & garlic parmesan fries. Had the brownie with ice cream for dessert & it was also good. Service was also above par, especially as it was around 10pm“

“I love the mother Earth bowl, my wife loves the chicken bowl my son had the steak he said it was very good.
We really enjoy coming here but today the mother of all the sweet potatoes were definitely a day old very dry - this is disappointing because we really enjoy coming here.
This is my favorite bowl spot in Charlotte. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Both locations are solid“

“My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again!
