Tap and Vine Indian Trail is a new restaurant offering a variety of tapas and other dishes in a welcoming setting. The atmosphere varies from quiet and cozy during the day to lively and entertaining at night, especially when karaoke is featured. The outdoor heated area with a firepit table is a highlight, providing a great space to relax, although some reviews note that the seating areas and fire pit could be better maintained. Inside, the vibe can feel a bit stiff or stuffy initially, but it becomes more lively during karaoke or peak hours.
The restaurant has a great selection of tapas, with dishes like scallops, crab cakes, Brussel Sprouts, and torttole receiving high praise for their flavor and quality. Service is generally attentive and friendly, accommodating families with toddlers and guests with special needs. The staff appears to care about their guests, creating a positive experience.
Food portions are ample and flavorful, though some feel the quality leans more toward bar food rather than elevated tapas, and prices have increased. Happy hour offers good deals, making it a worthwhile visit during those times. Overall, Tap and Vine Indian Trail is a versatile spot with good food, friendly service, and a variety of seating options, but it seems to still be figuring out its vibe and consistency.
