“My wife and I have lived in Stallings Matthews area for three years and we finally got some barbecue from Stallings stone store BBQ. The moment I walked in and saw their cozy three person operation I was taken back to 1987. The food was spectacular and their smiles were the cherry on top. Great customer service and a smile sure does make the food taste a “wee” bit better. Our first visit of many to come was a pleasure beyond comparison. Oh, GET THE BRISKIT!!!”

“Today I visited NY Pizza Express in Stallings on Potter Road. I ordered my favorite item when ordering at a pizza place, calzone. Well, I will tell you now that is the best calzone I have ever found/had in union county. The business is family owned they were so nice and my calzone was the best. On a 10 star rating I give them 10 stars. Great food, great and friendly service and pretty fast service I think for pizza. I will definitely be ordering my calzones and pizza there. Very satisfied customer. I recommend Calzone.”

“I have been going to this establishment for years now. I think they offer a really unique selection of items. I personally really enjoy their pupusas, horchata, and breakfast plates with beans and eggs. The servers are polite, but do not expect fast food speeds. They make everything themselves and the wait is worth it in my opinion. Finally, their atmosphere is perfect for a short lunch, its authentic and not gentrified. Overall, this is one of my favorite secret gems of the Matthews area. Cheers.”

“I've been to this McDonald's for years but only through the drive-through for breakfast, and I've always had a good experience. The lady at the first window where you pay is always smiling and seems really sweet. The ladies at the second window seem nice also and work fast to get your order.

Parking: This McDonald's is in the same location as a gasoline station, so it is very difficult to get parking in the morning on the weekdays, as there are a significant number of trucks and cars getting gasoline.”

“Phenomenal dinner and outstanding customer service. I had the apple beggar's purse appetizer, and it was as good as dessert. Just amazing. I had the Seabass entree, again very impressed. The flavor profile for both of these dishes was unreal. Paired with Oban 14 neat. I am so glad I went in!!”

“I want to be as objective as possible. Im trying to play nice. Especially for a restaurant that charges your card for a reservation hold. Our reservation didn't get booked, so we sat at the bar. The service was good. My card got declined because it was locked. The bartender was patient while I figured it out. However, the food which is always my main focus. Let's talk about the food. It was rather disappointing. We opted for a small Salad, Chicken Parm, and Nutella pie. The only thing decent was the pie. It was huge, light and fluffy, and covered in caramel. The chicken Parm was a great size (2 big) breasts heavily breaded and covered in sauce and cheese, completely lacking flavor. The breading did have herbs. Additionally, it was completely greasey. You could squeeze the cutlet and the oil oozed. They definitely needed salt, too. The side of spaghetti was no different. The sauce was the same and lacked flavor. I did add fresh shaved parmesan, so the salt in that should have enhanced the flavor, but it was still lacking . The whole meal was void of flavor but looked esthetically palatable. I asked her opinion and she felt the same. Gave it a 2 out of 10. In fairness, she's Indian so she likes heavy flavor and spice, and I love strong seasoning, so this may not have been our cup of tea. So, take my review with a pinch of salt.”

“As frequent online ordering, in conjunction with dine in service, my wife and I truly enjoy each and every dining experience at this location. The meals are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It's great eating healthy food that taste this good. It's also a nice touch to not have a long wait whenever ordering online. Kudos to Nick and the staff for always enabling us to have a most enjoyable dining experience. Keep up the good work. You're the "BEST of the BEST"!!!!”

As a wedding professional with well over 200 weddings in my portfolio, I can tell you that Steak 48’s service and care for their clients/guests far surpassed the other restaurants I have done events at. The staff was not only patience and diligent with the guests, but that went out of their way to make vendors such as myself feel comfortable. The staff was introduced to me at the start of the event and continued to call me by name, ask if I needed water/snacks, and continuously made sure that I was ready to move forward before starting to serve the next course. I was incredibly impressed and am looking forward to more events and my own date nights at Steak 48.”

I have tried almost every thing they have here from bánh mì, to the drinks, to the desserts and every time I can’t help but feeling so amazed by how beautiful and nearly everything is served, I can tell how much love and effort they put into this restaurant and the food, the food quality is always the same and is sooooo soooo good. The service can be slow sometimes because they’re family owned but I don’t mind waiting because I know my food is going to come out perfect every single time.
My go to meal is: cold cut (special) bánh mì + iced Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam + the cheese and hot dog (or leek and Parmesan or cheese danish or anything really, all the small bites are all good), try them and thank me later.
I live almost an hour away from them but I still drive there multiple times a week to have my bánh mì fix. At this point I think I should just do a binding vows with them lol ?”
