My go to spot for carribean food. Being from NY good carribean food is easy to come by. It is not easy to find good island food in this Charlotte metro area. I work nearby and was glad to discover it. Thank you island grill. Oxtails are good and the rice and peas are always solid.
Delicious. The yams were just the way I like them, not too sweet. Cabbage is not heavily seasoned and still has a little crunch, but again, I liked it but my husband prefers the very soft, vinegar heavy cabbage. This one tastes more light/fresh). Plantains are good. I had rice and peas with oxtail gravy, this was the star of the dish. My husband had the yellow rice.
