The Smoke Pit is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food and good service. The staff, like Julia and Donna, are attentive and friendly. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the cornbread is perfectly sweet, and the collard greens are flavorful. The portions are large and reasonably priced, leaving you with leftovers. It can get busy and loud, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience. Whether you try the two meat combo with brisket and BBQ chicken or opt for other dishes, like cheesy cream corn and deviled egg potato salad, you won't be disappointed. This is a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal.
