“NC Donut Star is simply the Best! A coworker turned me onto theDonut Star and I have to fight the urge to go there sometimes because I battle with my weight. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are so soft and delicious. I am going to the beach today and I am going to pick up an assortment so my mom can try them. I have raved about this place and she is curious as to see what they taste like. I am sure that she will be delighted as I am. The store is clean and it is a great environment. All of the donuts in the case look so inviting that it is hard to choose what little beauty you will pick out. I am impressed! I highly recommend checking them out. Krispy Kreme Who? yeah, I said that.”

The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!”

Acqua Ragazza is finally a place where you can find an excellent dining experience! The only downfall is that the prices are a bit high for the area where it is located and to add insult to injury when we asked for additional bread, they charged us a whopping four dollars which after what we were charged for the meal was shocking to say the least! Aside from that unless you either live in The Point in Mooresville or The Peninsula in Cornelius, very few people in this area will be able to afford the prices! Just a Point to Ponder for Management!”

“Oh my! I had two asada tacos and a cabeza (head) taco! They were amazing! This has been the best tasting most authentic flavor I have found! It brought back memories! Growing up my mom would make cabeza tacos. The tacos are regular size with plenty of meat! The green salsa is a little spicy not much maybe a 3 of 10 but that is so subjective. The (toreado)grilled serrano provides just enough heat to enjoy with the tacos. I'll be going back to try many other items. The torta I'm sure will be delightful with the type of flavor the meat has as well as the birria tacos and the lengua (tongue). I'll have to update this post once I have those other items. Thank you for great tasting mexican food! The ladies working were very nice as well.”

“This is the second year we hosted our neighborhood holiday party at Shoals Grill. They have updated the private party room which was a nice surprise. We had a group of 50 people and the service and food was great. Andrew, the event manager, and our bartender were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We look forward to hosting our party again there in 2025.”

Gianna seemed to be working by herself when we walked in and there was not only a line waiting to order, but people waiting for their orders. To add to the chaos, it looked like mobile orders kept popping through too. After overhearing a conversation with a coworker on the phone, she was overwhelmed but had the coolest head and was still very kind. The wait was obviously longer than you’d expect, but we walked into it and had that expectation from the get-go so it was no issue for us. In case she had a rough day today, I hope she knows she handled the situation, the sudden rush, really well! The Pura Vida and Power bowls were delicious!”

The aloha pizza never had a chance to make it into my husband’s stomach. The young man at the register was so sweet and accommodating to my kids and their numerous needs. I believe he said his name was Jonathan or Jackson. However, I would like to state that I saw people on their phones not doing their job, while he did all the work. I think the managers need to address this because as a former retail worker, I think this is completely unacceptable for people to not be doing their jobs and just sitting around while customers are in the building.”

Very fun decor (nascar and football themed) We sat inside the bus located inside the restaurant which had little mini TV’s playing kids movies. Very fun. I ordered the BBQ plate which included 2 sides (Mac-n-cheese & baked beans) not your typical Mac-n-cheese - like curly pasta noodles and white cheddar cheese. Baked beans with yummy with onions & bits of bbq in them. The flavor of the BBQ sauce is good. I’m not a vinegar based girl so it was nice to have another option to dip my BBQ in. Husband said the ribs were seasoned well & not dry. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!”

The menu is simple and delicious and the soups are amazing! The very best I’ve had is the mushroom bisque and also the carrot bisque. Take a minute to truly enjoy this gem of a place. “I love my neighborhood Culver's in Mooresville (it's the closest to where I live). This restaurant has one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten! “I’ve been going to the 29 grills since they’ve opened and all I can say is this is the best one yet so far not saying the other ones aren’t the best (because their all the best) but I’ve been coming for about 3 or 4 years now and the owner has made it over the top with this one everything from the host the service and the food is overall amazing we came got tender a salad and a bacon cheese burger and a BLT and sides etc well when I tell you this always hits the spot they know how to make it on point and everything when I say this a 10/10 I did overhear some customers asking about the glass plates for lunch and the waiter was explaining to them about them and the people were just shaking their heads because they didn’t get glass plates or real silverware well when you eat from a 29 GRILL it’s not supposed to be a steak house or anything like that it’s called a GRILL for a reason be happy with what you get and don’t pitch a fit don’t eat there if you care about what you eat on because at the end of the day food is food and your still gonna process it the way everyone else does but overall GIVING THIS PLACE A 100/10 if I could but 10/10 will do for now.”

“Ok, so I went here the first day after their grand opening… it was so busy but very slow service, i waited over an HOUR in the drive through line for my mobile order. Personally I feel like until they get “settled” don’t mobile order.. it was a terrible idea. Not only was the wait long by time I got to the window my drinks were all melted. The toasted bagel was hard as heck ( had to throw it out) my egg soufflé was cold I did still eat the egg and it was good! My 4 year old enjoyed his cake pop! I will try it again because it’s new I would just in person order and walk in. Hoping for better days. I heard great things about this brand and I’m hoping to be able to love it as well!”

“Despite living walking distance of this location, we have been hesitating to try it due to the bad reviews. Last night we gave it a shot, and now I’m disappointed we waited so long. It was a Saturday night around 8:30 so they were busy, I’m sure. We ordered 20 wings and fries and both were perfect! We ordered online and the food was ready in about ten minutes. Both fries and wings were hot and crispy when we got them home and the ranch is delicious! We will definitely order again. Lots of different things go into bad reviews and you never know the whole story. If you’re on the fence, give them a try!”
