“NC Donut Star is simply the Best! A coworker turned me onto theDonut Star and I have to fight the urge to go there sometimes because I battle with my weight. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are so soft and delicious. I am going to the beach today and I am going to pick up an assortment so my mom can try them. I have raved about this place and she is curious as to see what they taste like. I am sure that she will be delighted as I am. The store is clean and it is a great environment. All of the donuts in the case look so inviting that it is hard to choose what little beauty you will pick out. I am impressed! I highly recommend checking them out. Krispy Kreme Who? yeah, I said that.”

Staff friendliness and service is wonderful. Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, but not invasive or overbearing. Maria was our server last night (Our 3rd time there), and we will definitely request her in the future!”

“So this was our first time trying Epic and sadly it didn't live up to the Epic name nor the hype of most people. Were there some good things, sure, but overall not somewhere I'd be itching to go back to visit. Let me elaborate. First off my wife ordered a $12 "black magic" drink from the bar. The drinks arrived and was half a whiskey glass full and half of that was a big block of ice so basically you got about a shot and it wasn't good. Two people at the table got it and the other person didn't even drink hers it was so nasty. Now the food. Some other people in our group ordered artisan bread, the cheese toast, roast garlic spinach dip, and some Shanghai shrimp. All of which besides the toast was good except the spinach dip was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended! My wife and myself decided to split the 28oz porterhouse steak medium rare with baked potato and of coarse the waitress offered up a soup or salad like it was included which isn't, but she was a good salesperson and my wife ordered the $12 lobster bisque. The soup arrived and it was eh decent in my opinion although on the small portion side, but my wife liked it so that's all that mattered. Personally I wasn't impressed with it. Now the main coarse. The porterhouse! It came out and looked amazing. Nice char on the outside, juices in the plate, and smelled delicious! Then I cut in to it and the bottom part was cooked close to medium rare as we ordered it, but the other half of the steak was medium to medium well. I usually don't like sending food back so I just grunted and decided to eat it anyway. However people at the table could tell I wasn't happy and ask what was going on and I told them it was cooked wrong. The waitress overheard it and immediately took my plate and went to get it cooked correctly. The manager brought it back out with a new baked potato and made sure it was cooked to our liking this time. It was and he apologized for the issue. Now that it was cooked correctly I was excited to try it again and see if it lived up to the Epic hype so many people crow about, unfortunately not! The steak was tender and melted in the mouth, but there was so much salt on it it was basically like pouring coarse salt in your mouth with some beef broth and chewing it up. I ate about 3 bites and it was all I could stand. I wasn't about to send it back again so I just ask for a to- go box and brought it home. I'm really saddened that my high hopes were severely let down by this experience at Epic!! I had been looking forward to trying it all week only to get letdown hard. If someone gives us a gift card or we get invited to go for someone's birthday or something will the only reason I go back and even then I'll just order the spinach dip since it and the baked potato were the only part of the meal I really enjoyed!”

“We come from New York and lived in Boca Raton and have now lived in Cornelius for four years and the food here in North Carolina is horrible to say the least! Acqua Ragazza is finally a place where you can find an excellent dining experience! The only downfall is that the prices are a bit high for the area where it is located and to add insult to injury when we asked for additional bread, they charged us a whopping four dollars which after what we were charged for the meal was shocking to say the least! Aside from that unless you either live in The Point in Mooresville or The Peninsula in Cornelius, very few people in this area will be able to afford the prices! Just a Point to Ponder for Management!”

“This location is close to work and easy to dine at with outdoor seating available. Been here several times but this is the first time I tried the Spicy Pickle Pizza. The crust is great. It has enough salt in it to make the entire pizza flavorful without the toppings. It is topped with ground chicken sausage, grilled sweet onions, parsley, dill pickles, cheese and Calabrian peppers and drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. It is my favorite pizza there! I would request extra pickles next time and an extra side of hot honey (or bring my own!). I was too hungry to take a pic of the pizza. I wish I had noticed the lunch special because I ordered the regular size pizza which was enough for a PM snack and dinner!”

“Taqueria Guerrero is tasty and worth your time. Got the carne taco, the pollo taco, and the chorizo taco. All of them were good, and the price was good too. I paid $15 for 5 tacos. The woman who helped me was friendly. I'd recommend taking your food to go because it's in a parking lot next to a gross abandoned car wash. But I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience. This is the best taco truck I've been to in the area.”

“After reading most of the reviews I can personally attest that many are accurate. We have been 3x , one lunch and 2 dinners. Lunch was good, no complaints at all but will agree the $$ is a bit high but what isn’t today. Now on to the dinners , both times it was 2 couples I would rate the first visit a 1 and the second a 4.5. The first experience was not pleasant. Slow service, cold dinner the list goes on. We decided to give it a go last week and a complete 180. Very good service very good food and our guests loved it as well. Everyone has an off day so very glad we tried it again. Next time it will be another lunch visit.”

There’s only one Mexican restaurant in Mooresville we haven’t been to and I can tell that hands down Rio 150 is the best. Living all over the country and eating at more Mexican restaurants than I can count. Rio is definitely one of the best 3 I’ve been to. Don’t ask me to make numbers past that lol. The margaritas are amazing! The queso dip is to die for and everything on the menu is super tasty but I can’t get over that cheese steak burrito. No matter what you get you will not be disappointed. Do not pass this place up!”

Not only did they complete the cake with the image we wanted, but they did so beautifully! I asked for the edible image, purple, and green and they took those few things and made such a beautiful and tasty cake! The entire staff was so kind throughout the entire process. The cake was absolutely delicious and they made a little boy the happiest on his 6th birthday! Culver's is counter services but a step up from other chain fast food. This location is clean, with good service and excellent food. Kudos to the manager.”
